Monthly Report for October 2017

Compared to September, October results were up across the board.  Hopefully, we shall keep improving, since the things that have interfered with my writing are being resolved.

The count represents only the people who followed an external link to that specific article.  Three were from September.  Four were from this year.  All were from me.

Google is up from September.  Baidu is way up.  Stumbleupon is up, and Care2 is down.  Facebook made the list for the first time in years.

We had only 3 sites  with 2 or more referrals, down 4 from September.  Putting blogs’ links here increases the ratings of their sites, so this “linkey love” is our thank you for their referral support.  We need to improve this.

As of midnight November 1, we had 7,759 articles and 93,499 comments.

This is our policy on links.  We do not embed links to extreme Republican websites, like Faux Noise, Breitfart or World Nut Daily.  However I leave notes in square brackets when I delete such links, (example: [faux noise delinked]) so readers, who wish to follow them can click through to the source article.  I also remove topical links.  Finally, I blank the target on all links, so they open in a new tab or window.

I hope that things continue to improve.  I shall be devoting no time to heat waves and less time medical mayhem.  I hope Care2 finally gets control of that awful Glitch Monster.

Trump is fuming over an ISIS terrorist who killed eight people.  While that man should be punished, he is less worthy of punishment than Trump himself, who has caused hundreds of deaths.  During one day short of his first year, Trump has still failed to sign any major legislation.  That’s still your fault.  Your efforts to educate others and expose his insane policies to the light of day have frustrated him at every turn.  Kudos to you all!  Now, we also need to take control of the Democratic Party from the corrupt DNC.  Our work has just begun.
