Please keep the surviving victims, their families, the families of the dead, and all who were traumatized by the Las Vegas massacre in your thoughts, prayers, or however you address the infinite. I’ll be leaving in a bit to go for my one month follow up for my cataract surgery, and to order glasses. Although they won’t be perfect, Medicare won’t pay for them, if I wait. I’ll finish this when I return.
I’m back. The eye couldn’t be better. I got to take the tour on the way home, and I am big time pooped. Nap time!!

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
5:00 Predictable. My fingers are just not working fast enough.
Good news from the ellipsoid orb, and for the orbs in the eye sockets! Yay!
Something – well, bittersweet – this is the first film of this dance ever, but their habitat (in Patagonia) is endangered.
Cartoon – Except not enough of us found out. Or they managed to twist it into a race war. Or both.
From modern to ballroom dancing, the grebes are outstanding entertainers! They should win Dancing with the Stars!
Dang! Dancing lunch!!
Good to see the horsies back in the Win column.
I lit a candle at Gratefulness.org in memory of those who were gunned down, and to bring comfort to the traumatized. When will we ever learn?
Class war? The rich-asses have no business kvetching – they started it!
So glad for your good news!! And….that our guys won!! yay!!
Have a good evening, take good care, and Thanks, Tom
Glad to hear that you got a good report on your eye! I gotta go get my eyes checked soon, also. Haven’t been to one in 20 years.
Take care, TC! See ya later!
Puzzle — 3:25 Opened in 1607, this is not the oldest bridge I have ever crossed. Crossing the river Ouvèze in Vaison La Romaine, France is an ancient bridge that dates back to the 1st century CE (AD). I sat on the edge of the bridge (at the end on the right side in this picture) and could hear the sounds of two thousand years of history passing by. It was spooky at first but then turned extremely interesting when I realised what was happening. The US should have infrastructure this durable! On the right side is the old town where the streets are only wide enough for 2 bicycles. No cars, no trucks, no buses . . .
Cartoon — We’ve always known . . . well at least many of us.
I was confident that everything with your eye would be good! How did I know? Your puzzle times, which have mostly been very good, are even better. Glad you’re getting a good nap!
Sad about the shooting in Las Vegas. Certainly my prayers are with the friends and families of the victims. I have yet to hear Drumpf say it was an act of domestic terrorism. We had an attack by a Somali refugee in Edmonton on the weekend but it has not yet labelled a terrorist act. Fortunately nobody was killed but the attacker has been charged with 5 counts of attempted murder. This could be upgraded to terrorism charges if warranted.
A gorgeous photo … and a lucky (at least fortunate) you!
Beautiful pic!
If my vision is that great, why am I not eating more dawgs?
Because I am an animal lover . . . even dawgs!
Aren’t Republicans enough for you!
Eating Republicans? YUCK!!
Republicans are for peeing on, not for eating!
Glad to hear about your eyes, TomCat. Hope the prescription glasses will be sufficient for now.
So sad about the terrible murderous spree in Vegas, with the death toll still on the rise and so many wounded in hospital.
Haven’t time to comment more, still trying to fit two kilos in a one kilo bag.
Keep on stuffin’!
Thanks all. Tired Hugs!
