I’m still trying to get appointments squared away. I’m about to receive a visit from Melissa from Neighborhood House, the agency that manages the portion of Wendy’s services that the State pays. It’s routine. She is replacing my previous social worker and wants to get aquatinted, so I’ll be breaking to visit with her, before I publish today.

Puzzle — 4:13 I went bananas on this one! Both my boys, Primo and Winnie, were ecstatic — they love bananas and would eat a whole average sized banana between them if I let them — I don’t.

That would presume that he has some ethics, which he does not. He’s like his father, lying more than he tells the truth. MoveOn — When I watched the video, I thought back to when my mother was diagnosed with dementia. There is so much going on and decisions to make, that the last thing you need is to worry about money. Medicaid was there for this couple, and with an aging population, it needs to be available for those that need it. Republicans are a bunch of sick bastards!

I hope you tell Melissa that Wendy is a keeper and indispensable. I’ve been out to 2 meetings today getting home about 2230 hours. I had some supper and now as I write, my neighbour and her 13 year old are in a shouting match which, had I been asleep, would have wakened me up. Grrrrrr . . . The rest of the week is busy with physio, podiatrist, teaching etc. BC is ablaze with out of control wildfires. Approximately 14,000 have been displaced and 3 entire towns are in danger of being obliterated. Firefighters are coming in from around the country and 300 additional constables have been shipped into the fire zone. If you can believe, 10 people have been arrested for looting etc. There are even fake fire marshals going door to door to inform people they have to leave. Where they are operating, people are not even under an evacuation alert. This is strictly a robbery scheme. How low can these thugs go! I’d appreciate prayers for the people affected and for all the first responders. I think it is going to be a long summer.
