It’s that time of week again, and I’m happy to share three excellent video clips from Bill’s show last night. Enjoy!!
Monologue: Make America Sick Again
New Rule: I Didn’t Reproduce Day
I know very little about Nawaz, so I could be wrong. However, as a Christian, who regularly criticizes the anti-Christian extremism of Republican Supply-side pseudo-Christians, I consider it absurd to condemn a Muslim, for criticizing Islamist extremism.
RESIST!!

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
Bill I – Yeah. The problem with Democrats is indeed that the wrong people are in power.
Bill II – Based on your comment, I didn’t watch this. My blood pressure is already high enough today.
BILL III – OK, as a lifelong non-parent (probably through a combination of good management and “good” luck [endometriosis]), I can definitely relate to this. TC, though, a coupon for a foot rub for you would be a rip-off. You need one (or more) for back-scratching. I must say, however, staying single is not the only way to be childless.
You should see the looks I get when I tell folks I have an itch on my left foot, and ask them to scratch it.
Looks like you & I both inherited, somewhere along the line, our “Ornery Gene”.
Heh, heh, Heh!! Indeed!
And what a great gene to have.
Yes it is!!
Great clips from Bill this week.0-4 re: Dems. Sad.#3. Funny!
*Joanne. Love your ‘RESIST’ picture!
Thanks. I don’t know what species it is, but couldn’t resist a “tuxedo bird.” Or the attitude!
“…as a Christian, who regularly criticizes the anti-Christian extremism of Republican Supply-side pseudo-Christians, I consider it absurd to condemn a Muslim, for criticizing Islamist extremism.” — I agree provided such criticism is done with civility. I disagree with the Republican pseudo Christians and for that matter, all the evangelical Christians that do not walk the talk that Christ taught.
It is rather interesting that some people say there are no moderate Muslims speaking up against extremist Muslims. Now the SPLC is criticising Nawaz, a Muslim, for speaking up about Muslim extremists. Go figure, eh!
Resist and Persist!!!
I read you comment after I had posted mine, Lynn, but apparently we had landed in the same ditch
Thanks for posting Bill Maher’s excellent interview with Maajid Nahwaz. I’m glad Maher gave Nahwaz the opportunity to tell his side of the story, including his background. But it also left me with the feeling that this is again something moderate Muslims can’t win. When there is a terrorist attack – by Muslims of course, otherwise it will not be called a terrorist attack – the right is quick to condemn Muslims in general and accuse them of not speaking out against Muslim extremism. Which of course they do, but that is generally goes unnoticed or is simply ignored by the right, and sadly the left too. They even go as far as to call prominent and influential Muslims, whose critique on Muslim extremism does come through, a anti-Muslim extremist. Both dangerous and ridiculous, and a new kind of bigotry
Nahawaz said it well:
And I’m all for a I Didn’t Reproduce Day, you don’t need to remain single for that
Thanks all. Lynn and Lona, great minds often fall in the same ditch.
