It appears that Alternet has unlinked themselves from Repubhub, making it possible for us to republish excerpts under creative commons attribution once again. Therefore, here is part of a wonderful article on how the Fuhrer screws up even the simplest things.
When he forgot Paul Ryan’s name. Twice.
At an event in Paul Ryan’s hometown of Janesville, Wisconsin, Trump attempted to name check the Speaker of the House—a guy he’d thrown under Jeanine Pirro’s bus just weeks before. Perhaps confused by the fact that Sen. Ron Johnson was also in the room, Trump proceeded to call Ryan the wrong name twice.
“I said, Ron, make sure these [NATO] countries start paying their bills a little bit more,” Trump said, referring to a man whose name is definitely Paul.
“They’re way, way behind, Ron,” Trump continued, speaking to the guy whose name is still, without question, Paul.
Trump then looked toward the real Ron Johnson in the audience and added, “I’m going to talk to you about that too, Ron.”…

Barf Bag Alert!!
I can almost empathize with the Fuhrer, as I trust we'd all like to forget Lyin' Ryan.
This is only the third of six Drumpfenfarts from the Fuhrer. Click through for the other five.

1. Of course Melania knows to put one's hand over heart during the National Anthem. She had to take citizenship classes. He didn't.
4. This one may be the bigliest goof from my perspective. "This gentleman" is apparently an unholy trinity? Father, son, and holy terror? Too far out!
5. Dunning-Krueger effect indeed. Even in this, though … there are much funnier examples about other people in articles about Dunning-Krueger. "But I wore the juice, man!"
6. The "Irish proverb" and the green MAGA hats with the four leaf clovers instead of the shamrck, which has three leaves. HOW does he get away with it? Oh, never mind, I know – his followers are as dumb as he is.
Twitler is either incredibly stupid, certifiably looney or senile …
""This gentleman" is apparently an unholy trinity? Father, son, and holy terror? " — LMAO!!! Too funny JD!
Gawd, isn't this awful?? He'd a national embarrassment, clueless, and so pathetically moronic!
Add to this also, dt went to Walter Reed National Medical Center on Saturday, and awarded a Purple Heart to Army Sergeant First Class Alvaro Barrientos, who lost a leg in Afghanistan. As he was pinning the Purple Heart on his lapel, dt told Barrientos, 'Congratulations/Tremendous!' My jaw dropped to the floor, one never congratulates a member of the Armed Forces for losing limbs in a war. It's not like winning a prize, you A==!! So inappropriate! No respect at all.
I had a boss once – well, she WAS an actress – who had a trick of saying "F**k you very much" with the exact intonation and expression she'd have used to say, "Thank you very much." (Sort of like telling someone to go to hell in such a way that he is happy to be on his way.) Maybe we all need to practice that one.
Really? I thought that was a TC original. I've used it for years. Great minds fall…
Well, what with six degrees of separation and all, she may have gotten it from you indirectly. I worked for her in the mid to late eighties.
It worked for me this afternoon. A phone solicitor refused to identify her company.
Pat, right on! No respect at all!!!
I don't know which bothers me most, the fact that he is so dim witted, or that so many people still support him
Edie, with so many still pledging allegiance to the Orange Ogre, just goes to show that he is not the only one who is incredibly dim witted!
Funny how the Dunning-Kreuger effect has become so well known, of late! aand, yes, Joanne is right, his followers are as dumb as he is! And I offer you a quote, here taken out of its original context, but fitting the current one, regarding Rumpy and the GOPigs that support him: They are "a race of mendacious hypocrites, ever ready to accuse others of dishonesty in order to cover up their own talents for scheming and dissembling, etc., etc."
FLASH OF INSIGHT: That asinine smile…it comes right from the Alfred E. Neuman playbook!!
That insults Alfred E.
With every stupid act, I swear he gets dumber and dumber. I venture to say that he is not respected in the international community.
To quote Forrest Gump, "Stupid is as stupid does."
we’d all kike to forget
Most typos are no big deal, but that one might be worth fixing.
Ouch. I missed that. Fixed now. (I'm supposed to be proofreading.)
OY!!
#1 Melania took a brave chance there with nudging Drumpf because he doesn't see his forgetfulness in public as a problem at all, it just doesn't register, but being reminded of that by his wife in public is perceived as a personal attack on him. I bet she was sent to New York immediately after. Even if Melania tried she could never be the Nancy to Reagan's Alzheimer.
#2 Iraq, Syria, they're all the same to Drumpf, some place in the world that he decides to attack over breakfast or brag about after dinner to China's President XI after he'd warned the Russians first.
#3 So he uses the wrong first name, twice. Paul Ryan should count himself lucky he was mentioned in his own town at all. Drumpf doesn't like losers, not even when he was instrumental in Ryan's taking the fall for him. Paul Ryan means nothing to him. I'm just waiting for this to sink in with Ryan for good.
#4 If he can't even remember the name of the guy running North Korea, how can you expect him to know there have been three of them since negotiations began. If Drumpf starts to brag over soup that he has a nuclear missile with the name of the North Korean leader on it, I hope his guest has the presence of mind to ask him which one.
#5 The combination of megalomania, narcissism, arrogance and a spot of dementia will do that to a guy.
#6 And that's what happens when Drumpf surrounds himself with people who are equally dumb and incapable so there's no one shining brighter than he does. They're back to burning candles in the White House again.
Thanks all! Hugs!
