Sorry Andy. I don’t believe you. The link between getting pushed out a window and the brief similarity between falling and flight is far too great an intellectual hurdle for Braindead Ben. RESIST!!

TNY – It makes about as much sense as "slaves" being "immigrants who came here with a dream."
Keith # 43 – Yes, Keith actually points out that there is no one currently in power who is willing to investigate the real issues. I recognize the dangers Keith identifies, including the danger that there is no one in place to stop it (which appears to me the greatest danger of all). Now what?

If you feel like crap, TomCat, you should really stay in bed and let the flu take its course, you know. The longer you fight it, the longer it will take to beat that damn bug, so give your health priority and focus on getting well. Please.
TNY: Ben Carson is obviously speaking from experience; someone pushed him out of a window when he was a child and he landed on his head. Not that people noticed, most brain damage had occurred prior, at birth.
Keith Olbermann: Keith asks the one question that is relevant now: what or who will stop him from picking up another conspiracy theory from the cesspool that calls itself news media that he watches but can't process or comprehend, and acting on it. Keith follows up with too long a list of those who will not stop him and of whom we all are very much aware. The only thing to stop him from getting worse is increasing pressure by the American public in every possible way to have him and his cronies investigated on connections with Russia and Drumpf in particular of his unlawful business deals in the past and while in the Oval Office now. Increase the pressure to impeach Drumpf:
RESIST, PERSIST & IMPEACH!

Also, it is highly doubtful there will be a "Friday Fun" tomorrow. I was actually scheduled to meet w/ the accountant to do my taxes (and pretty much I do all the work filling in the numbers on his online form – and he just plugs them in to his program. Pretty sure I'm changing to someone cheaper than the next year).
But on Sunday, while eating a bagel – a BAGEL – I shattered a tooth. So I saw my dentist Monday, and she said I need a root canal ($1,700) before I get a crown.($900). I got the root canal scheduled for tomorrow morning – on the other side of the KCMO Metro. So I'll be in both physical and financial pain tomorrow. I do have dental insurance, but it's got a $1k annual cap.
(If someone has had a root canal and found it easy-peasy – please post something. If it was a nightmare, keep it to yourself. Thanks!)
I had a root canal many years ago and it was easy-peasy! I am needle phobic and I absolutely hate anyone messing with my teeth, so I don't like the freezing nor do I like hands in my mouth. You'd think I'd be accustomed to the latter since I regularly put my foot in my mouth! There was just a bit of discomfort, that's it.

OMG, so sorry! I haven't had one myself. Like most procedures, the difficulty for the patient is probably partially ties to the skill of the physician (or in this case dentist)). But the individual details of the patient's case affect it too. I do hope yours goes smoothly. I also hope your furbaby is helpful with the recovery. I gather he will never make a recovery room nurse, from what you have said, but he might still offer some consolation.

The New Yorker — From a story that I heard some years ago, the angel Gabriel gave a man a similar choice. He even showed the man how to fly. So the man jumped off the roof of a tall building and started flapping his arms on the way down. He went splat on the pavement below as one would expect. Another angel said "You're one bad dude!" I think we could even substitute Ben Carson for Gabriel except I'm not sure that Ben is that smart.

Sorry about your back! I have a spot in mine that acts up – sometimes it doesn't last long, other times it's days. And the news doesn't help. I hope yours improves!
