Whose Plan Works?

As always, the Reich on the left, Robert Reich, is right, and the Reich on the right, the Republican Reich, is wrong.  The Republican economic plan is just standard tinkle down on steroids.  Unless you’re rich, you know I call it that, because you’re under the flow.  Reich makes an undeniable case to prove that it is wrong.

RobertReich

For years, conservatives have been telling us that a healthy business-friendly economy depends on low taxes, few regulations, and low wages. Are they right?

We’ve had an experiment going on here in the United States that provides an answer.

At the one end of the scale are Kansas and Texas, with among the nation’s lowest taxes, least regulations, and lowest wages.

At the other end is California, featuring among the nation’s highest taxes, especially on the wealthy; lots of regulations, particularly when it comes to the environment; and high wages.

So according to conservative doctrine, Kansas and Texas ought to be booming, and California ought to be in the pits.

Actually, it’s just the opposite…

From <Robert Reich>

It’s time to Californicate red states.

RESIST!

  1. It's probably also a good time to come up with a more positive word that "Californicate" – since it doesn't appear to be very applicable to what would actually happen.  Califormulate?  Califormula?  Califormidable?  I need more time to think.  Suggestions welcome.  (BTW California is also one of the most accepting, if not THE most acceoting state, of immigrants.)

  2. This plan works for me…peace.

  3. Trickle Down is, has been the biggest hoax, not climate change!  Reagan's trickle down redirected wealth to the upper class, and they don't share!  Nor do they give a damn!    Brownback's Kansas is not Dorothy's home, anymore.

  4. Too bad most of our governors in the South are Republicans, they will never grasp this concept.  Kentucky's Matt Bevins is pushing hard for the " right to work" law right now, which we all know means no union, no benefits, no nothing for the workers.

  5. The Reich on the right should be able to comprehend the Reich on the left since Reich makes his presentation to about a grade 8 level to accommodate the average person's understanding.  Trouble is the Reich on the right is blinded by their greed, idiotology, and dare I say privilege.

  6. Mr. Reich is spot on.
"The Conservative formula is wrong." Check.
California is a lovely state, wish I lived there. (sigh!).

  7. May the Reich on the left become the Reich for all sooner than later. For the time just remember Kansas, Texas, and California, and spread the word: The conservative formula of "Low Taxes, Few Regulations, and Low Wages are the Keys to Economic Business-Friendly Success" is wrong. AND RESIST.

  8. Thanks all!  Hugs!!
