After doing my research this morning, I rested and had a later than normal lunch, because when Wendy comes on Wednesdays to give the stinky TomCat a flea bath, we have supper later than usual. After I finish my work, I'll lay down for a couple hours. It's a good day to support veterans.

Adjacent was an even older bridge that connected the abbey to the new town that contained Roman gardens, baths, and a large amphitheatre. I could hear the voices and sounds of daily life through the centuries.

Sorry to see COPD cropping up in your personal note again, TomCat. You haven't mentioned it for quit a while, so I was hoping it wasn't bothering you so much anymore. Sadly it seems to have taken the vacant spot left by your less painful shoulder. Take care of yourself, my feline friend and get lots of rest.
YT(GQC): As always, Keith Olbermann is spot on. Of course those that didn't vote for Drumpf, i.e. most of you, knew that Drumpf was a shitty businessman. And those that did vote for him could and should have known it too. With four bankruptcies on his record, thousands of court cases in which he was either sued by people who he cheated out of their money, or in which he sued others because he didn't manage to cheat them out of their money and a list with no end of complainers about his bullying, bribing and backhanding doing deals, it was clear that the Drumpf family emporium was the only part of business that thought he was such a great business man, all because they were the only ones that made any money out of it on the backs of the people that worked for or with him. And now he's going this on the largest scale possible: The United States of America. Within four years he'll bankrupt the US economy and have himself, his family and cronies come out billions richer.
National Popular Vote: Resist and tell your legislator to resist too and pass National Popular Vote.
TP: Kudos to Tapper for pushing Pence to the limit on the question if Pence, as head of the the transition team, was aware that the team had put in for security clearance for Flynn junior. Pence literally squirming in his chair was a most enjoyable sight, but after four or five tries he still managed to evade giving an answer. We all know what that means: Pence knew and was OK with it, junior did more than just schedule some meetings for his dad and they now hope this will all go away quietly if they just ignore it the Republican way.
Media, join Tapper and grill Drumpf and his team as hard as you can.
