I wakened early today from a too brief fitful sleep. I dreamed that I was basking in sunshine on a warm day with a cool breeze. Suddenly a storm rolled in and blotted out the sun. Lightning flashed threateningly and hail battered everything. Then the storm coalesced into an image of Fuhrer Drumpfenfarten. I woke up screaming. Wendy will be coming in just a few minutes to de-stink the TomCat, help with cleaning, help with cooking, and do some repairs on my power chair. It’s a holy day in the Church of the Ellipsoid Orb. My Broncos and the Saints will be televised in the early game, so this won’t be published until after it is over. My the Orb shine it’s blessed light on every team but one.
We made enough of my green cloud chili to declare war on US voters.
Jig Zone Puzzle:
Today’s took me 2:38 (average 4:25). To do it, click here. How did you do?
Religious Decrease in Horror:
The impending rectum Reich prevents ecstasy, but what a finish.
Short Takes:
From The New Yorker: Speaking to reporters late Friday night, President-elect Donald Trump revealed that he had Googled Obamacare for the first time earlier in the day.
“I Googled it, and, I must say, I was surprised,” he said. “There was a lot in it that really made sense, to be honest.”
He said that he regretted that the frenetic pace of the presidential campaign had prevented him from Googling Obamacare earlier. “You’re always running, running, running,” he said. “There were so many times that I made a mental note to Google Obamacare but I just never got around to it.”
Trump also told the reporters that, now that the campaign was over, he had finally found the time to Google Mexico.
Dang, Andy! Do you think that fool will decide to keep part of Mexico too?
From Think Progress: Milwaukee County Sheriff David A. Clarke Jr., a prominent Trump campaign surrogate and Fox News regular, is reportedly under consideration to be Secretary of Homeland Security in the new administration. But his obsession with shutting down the mostly peaceful anti-Trump protests across the nation seems to be his top concern at the moment.
Seizing on reports that there was some violence at protests, Clarke unleashed a series of tweets denouncing the actions of “goon anarchists” and calling for the the National Guard to get involved.
There are few things uglier than Republican abuse of power by a race traitor.
From TPM: Florida state Attorney General Pam Bondi, who had endorsed Donald Trump presidential bid, said on Friday that she has joined the President-elect’s transition team.
"I’m honored to serve President-elect Donald J. Trump in making this historic transition and assisting in finding the best individuals to bring change to Washington on day one, grow our economy, protect our children and families, and be unafraid to stand up for Americans," Bondi told Politico.
Bondi’s connections to Trump stirred controversy during the campaign when it was revealed that a political group backing Bondi solicited a donation from Trump’s charity as Bondi was considering a lawsuit against Trump University. After the group received the donation from the Trump Foundation, Bondi decided against taking up the lawsuit. Trump’s campaign has insisted that the donation to Bondi was a mistake.
Mistake my ass!! It was a crime!! The list of incompetent criminals on Fuhrer Drumphenfarten’s transition team is growing.

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
4:49 My own fault; I've got more clutter than usual right now and it's interfering with moving the mouse.
TNY – Andy is doing straight news again. Ironically, if anything can save Obamacare, it will be the insurance compnies who are happy with it. Mexico – well, no, he probably won't.
TP – Well, now that not only is Arpaio out, but "the next Arpaio" (Paul Babeu) also lost his election, Clarke may be the only one left standing. I agree he is ugly beyond belief, but then the whole idea of a Trump administration is ugly beyond belief. I see he just made Reince Priebus his Chief of Staff. (Barf.)
TPM – I guess we have joined the list of nations where bribery is an accepted cost of doing business.
Cartoon – I was just saying to hubby on the phone that the only bright side of a fascist regime at this time is that he/they will screw the climate so badly that we won't have to live under it long. See what a benefit that is?
Oh, TC! May the Ellipsoid Orb shine on! I don't think I've won a game today, but glad the Broncos got their win!!!
I think Andy is taking the headlines too seriously! We shall see what is kept in the ACA soon. Drumpfenstien is REALLY changing his mind on major issues that he campaigned on and his zombies aren't happy with it! Who'd a thunk a person would tell people a lie when they are running for president of the United States?
Pam Bondi needs to be prosecuted for her stopping the investigation on Drumpf's "university"!
Hope your day was enjoyable with the win of the Broncos! Kinda close, but I love close games! Have a good one!
Wow, that dream was a real nightmare, hope you have recovered.
The New Yorker: Andy always seems to be writing fact, not fiction.
Think Progress: We all knew he would be selecting people of Clark's ilk. Those are his supporters.
TPM: Bondi should have been disbarred after she accepted a donation from him and then dropped an investigation on him.
Cartoon: True.
Puzzle — 3:20 Not enough vibrant colour for me, It needs those firey red maples.
The New Yorker — Definitely straight reporting.
Think Progress — I have heard him speak and read about him. I am far from impressed. He should not be a sheriff let alone Homeland Security director. He strikes me as too black and white, too . . . , too . . .
TPM — I agree with everyone's comments. I'll only add that she is, IMO, a Republican blonde bimbo.
Cartoon — The purveyor of death . . . Republican healthcare.
That football game was a squeaker! I saw the end while I was eating lunch. I was rooting for the Saints because my FF QB is a Saint. Too bad about the nightmare! I had mine a few weeks back, before the election, and I kicked Drumpf in the family jewels, really, really hard. Although it had been a nightmare, it surely was satisfying to kick him.
NYer: Yea, Andy, you got this as a fact. Check!!
TP: Unfortunately, adding this guy to his administration solidifies the hate/bias/etc., towards citizens. The what and how events that are taking place (peacefully), only stokes their fire, to quell the masses. Scary!!
TPM: DT will embrace all those that are on his side. He doesn't care what citizens think, nor our values.
Cartoon: We're screwed.
Both our teams squeaked by! Could you hear me yellin'? Unfortunately, your (ours) nightmare will frequent our minds' screens, and re-play that over and over. For the next four years, sadly. Glad that you had a good day, do take good care, and Thanks, Tom.
This whole election has been a nightmare, TC, but sorry you had to have another one. Many of us clinically depressed and struggling. I do like the comedians tho because it takes away power from the whole shebang when we can laugh at them.
Better take care with that Chili of yours, TomCat, it may increase the frequency of those all too vivid nightmares.
TNY: Andy's spot on. Now Drumpf has the Presidency, he can no longer make up things and call out whatever he thinks his voters want to hear. He's got to do some real research and find solid reasons to abolish ObamaCare or deport illegal immigrants or whatever else he's been wanting to "change". His backtracking on ObamaCare and now saying he won't get rid of all of it, is just the first of many. He now wants to incarcerate and then deport illegal immigrants with a criminal record like drug dealers and murderers, and says there are 2 million or maybe more of them. As we already know here crime is the lowest of all among illegal immigrants because they can't afford to be in the spotlight. So after he Googles that, Drumpf will have to come up with other reasons to put that many illegal immigrants in concentration camps. But I'm sure he and his Gestapo will come up with something.
TP: Of course the brown-nosing wasn't over after the elections, the heavy crawling has only just started. With all those jobs to fill, endorsement then is no longer enough, aspirant cabinet members have some heavy duty sucking up to do and David Clark is going for it. He won't let a small detail like race hold him back, he's too Republican for that.
I just hope all those Drumpf voters who ticked his box because theirs was an antiestablishment vote or because he'll "change" things are very happy with the cabinet nepotist Drumpf comes up with. Because it may not not have the traditional cadre of Washington insiders, but they are 1% establishment or establishment Tea Party all the way.
TPM: Yup, another one who was bought, got away with it and now holds Drumpf to his promise of a key position. And soon the Drumpf University charges will magically disappear, if not in this court than in appeal. But Hillary Clinton has to be locked up for using a private email server. America is becoming
greater…more yellow and bent by the minute. Banana Republic? I think Banana Republics will find that offensive. Thanks all!! Pooped Hugs!
