This years Presidential debates have been a three ring circus, and last night the third ring should certainly have sealed the deal for Hillary Clinton. Although Trump had been well muzzled by his handlers, Clinton’s prodding and probing broke through that facade after half an hour. By the end, she had reduced Trump to a red-faced, scowling, muttering fool.
In the third and final presidential debate, Mrs. Clinton outmaneuvered Mr. Trump with a surprising new approach: his.
Flipping the script, she turned herself into his relentless tormentor, condescending to him repeatedly and deploying some of his own trademark tactics against him.
The relatively subdued and largely defanged Republican nominee who showed up onstage at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, was a different figure from the candidate America has watched for the past 16 months.
Mr. Trump was, for much of the night, oddly calm and composed. He minimized his name-calling. His interruptions were relatively rare for him.
In a debate that his allies had predicted would represent 90 minutes of scorched-earth verbal warfare, Mr. Trump seemed deserted by his most bellicose instincts.
He repeatedly gave up chances to respond to pointed taunts from Mrs. Clinton, who dominated the confrontation from its opening moments, needling and baiting him over and over…
From <NY Times>
Here are three short video clips from Rachel Maddow. In the first she summarizes the debate, stressing his increasing agitation and the evenings bombshell.
In the second, she examines the facts behind the absurd Republican voter fraud claims.
In the third, she covers how Pence is goose-stepping with Trump refusal.
The Bottom line is this. No prominent Republicans have withdrawn their support from Trump, so no matter how much they whine, they own Trump and all his positions.
The Republican Party is a cancer that must be excised to save the United States.

Definitely a case of "Three Strikes & You're Out" for Donald.
Think we should have some Fun with it for Friday.
Sounds like a plan!
As I said yesterday, my gratitude to those who watched so I didn't have to is boundless. Or even greater.
I do hear there are already some bumper stickers out "Nasty women vote."
Great idea!
I want one of those bumper stickers!
This snide remark was picked up by most media here and many noted that "a Nasty Woman" would soon become a honorary nickname (or "geuzennaam" as we call it). And so it did. Love to get me a bumper sticker like that!
'm in agreement with David. Same talk, but not the same walk. Chris Wallace was okay with being the moderator too, which surprised me. No handshakes at the end, which I felt was appropriate also.
I want to get a bumper sticker that says "I'm a Nasty Woman" on it too!
The Orange POS blew it on the concept of accepting a possible defeat as legitimate. He is not capable of seeing that he is the cause of his own problems, rather sees it as if he wishes it, it ought to be delivered to him ASAP, or sooner, or it'a a conspiracy!
I watched it, and I was amazed today to see the number of posts and news items that said Trump won. No way did that happen. She did a good job on him tonight at the Al Smith banquet, too.
As I watched the debate, I was aware of the times that Drumpf would start to "answer" a question and then immediately pivot to another topic, obviously of his choosing. I also read a piece today, although I can't find it now, where Drumpf is claiming online polls have him winning the 3rd debate by very wide margins — Trump 77% Clinton 23% as an example. No surprise he was quoting polls by The Drudge Report and another radical right wing site. He is so pathetic!
Of course the big point came when he said he would not graciously concede if not elected, turning his back on American democratic tradition. Today I heard on the radio where he said at an Ohio rally that he would only accept the results of the election if he won. This is an extremely dangerous person.
One more thing I read today but did not double check was that Russia has asked to have election monitors in place, especially in Texas, Lousiana and Oklahoma. The US has shot this down unequivocally. Looking to "support" Drumpf?
This election is such a disaster. Drumpf must not win the presidency!
VOTE BLUE ALL DOWN THE TICKET!!!
Rachel said it all in her final remark in the last video: "This is not a capital or Republican campaign, this is a campaign where there is absolutely, from tthe top, no respect for American democracy."
Thanks all! Hugs!!
Kudos to Rachel for getting that on tape!
