I’m still struggling to sleep. At this point, I don’t know if it’s a side effect of Cymbalta or the result of this strange fall weather. Even though the temperature last night was 50°, it doesn’t make my apartment bearable when there is no wind to move that cool air inside, and the humidity is 96%. Tomorrow is a holy day in the Church of the Ellipsoid Orb. I probably won’t publish until late in the day, because my Broncos meditate in Cincinnati in the early game, and it’s a Wendy day.

This morning he appeared on Fox and Friends and offered more details on how that might work. You will not believe his jaw-dropping remarks. From his appearance on Fox and Friends:

TRUMP: Well, there are different levels. and you have somebody coming up who is the expert on it but basically they will—if they see, you know, they are proactive and if they see a person possibly with a gun or they think may have a gun, they will see the person and they will look and they will take the gun away. They will stop, they will frisk, and they will take the gun away and they won’t have anything to shoot with. I mean, how it’s not being used in Chicago is—to be honest with you, it’s a quite unbelievable, and you know the police, the local police, they know who has a gun, who shouldn’t be having a gun. They understand that.

Try taking your Cymbalta at a different time of the day. That may change this side-effect, and I would say it is. Ya need to call the doc Monday… And if you arent, try taking it early in the morning. I don't know, maybe that will help. I HATE not being able to sleep!

Daily Kos: Soo, T Rump is going to take guns away! That should be the main headline for Faux news, maybe some of his supporters would run. I saw DeBlasio on some program this week explaining how much less crime NYC was having by not doing "stop and frisk" but by having officers assigned to one area and having them get to know the people in the neighborhood. He sai some officers have given residents their cell phone numbers and e mail addresses. I think that should be the preferred way.
Media Matters: The alt right are racists and have no other reason to exist. The press needs to start ignoring them, not giving them free coverage. Trump has encouraged people like these to come out of the woodwork.
The New Yorker: I love Andy, but it won't matter how many times Hillary tells facts, his followers will believe Trump.

DK: I'm sure that my second hand English is to blame for not understanding Drumpf's explanation of New York's infamous stop and frisk policy from first reading, and it must be down to my lack of grasp of the language that I rate Drumpf's coherence down there with that of Sarah Palin and Louie Gohmert. But Drumpf need not fear that the African-American community didn't understand what he meant. He can rest assured that black Americans are very touched by the way he proposes to handle “African-American concerns.”
MM: Strange, my body no longer demands a barf bag when confronted with videos like these, it sort of freezes all over. Could that be because I'm literally going into shock? Is this my body's way of protecting itself against the effects of the onslaught on my mind?
American media have a lot to answer for these days. By giving Drumpf unlimited coverage, regardless of how vile and atrocious his message is, they also gave all the scum in his slipstream a podium they never had before. Sure, it used to be only Republican media who exercised too little restraint, but it seems to be en vogue with all of them now. Even Clinton felt she had to address the Alt-Right issue, and she couldn't have done them a greater service.
