On Friday, Folk had tweeted, "@HillaryClinton You should be tried for treason, murder, and crimes against the US Constitution… then hung on the Mall in Washington, DC."

From ‘Truthiness’ to ‘Trumpiness’, Colbert explained that’s how far we’ve devolved in just a decade.
Trumpiness?!!? He spelled it wrong. 
From Liberals Unite: U.S. Representative Steve King (R-IA) ignited a firestorm when he declared that white people had contributed more to civilization than any other sub-group of people.
The Tea Party Congressman made the remarks during a roundtable discussion hosted by MSNBC’s Chris Hayes.
The panel was discussing “the uniformly white leadership of the Republican Party” when fellow panelist Charlie Pierce, a writer for Esquire, stated: “If you’re really optimistic, you can say this was the last time that old white people would command the Republican Party’s attention, its platform, its public face.”

DK: To knowingly threaten bodily harm to another is a crime, (in my book), to threaten a Government official is quite another thing. Of course, Repugs would twist that around, and blame her for his tweet!! Hateful !!

DKos – Alas, you may be right about the regressive left – although I don't THINK they think she is guilty of murder – which begs the question, if the right is lying about that, why should anyone think they are not lying about everything else?

LU – Steve King, not to be confused with Stephen King, although both deal in horror, is always in my radar since I know someone in his district. He's really ignorant, isn't he? Seeing as there would have been no white people had brown and black people come up with little things like, of, the wheel, the screw, the inclined plane. I'll be he also know Jesus was brown. Or that the white west would never have gotten through the dark ages without the brown Musloms' chemistry and medicine. Well, Steve, if you think white people's contribution are the greatest, then you must consider stealing to be the greatest contribution of all.

People "hanged," picture (and other things) are "hung." Had he known that – which I am sure he didn't – I suppose he might still have said "hung" as an additional insult. But then, if she were an inanimate object, she could hardly seem so much of a threat to him, could she?
And Rep. Steve King (R-Dumbfuckistan) was proudly gloating at the Convention, until he realized that lily-white Melania Trump stole her speech from one of those other "sub-groups" (his words) – First Lady Michelle Obama.

Daily Kos: So glad he decided to call his remarks Hyperbole. I suppose he is hoping most of us won't know what that means. I wish there were some charges that could be brought against him for this horrible remark.

Liberals Unite: King is just another racist who managed to get elected. Term limits will be the only thing that rids us of people like him and McConnell.

DK: Michael Folk is a Virginian lawmaker? So why does he think he's above the law and tweets hate and violence inciting to his followers? I know…I know…political correctness went out through the door Drumpf came in and inciting hate and violence is the new norm.
C&L: Great episode. Just loved the way Stephen Colbert parodied Drumpf with his grotesque start of the segment. But sorry, Stephen, I'm going to stick to spelling it "Drumpfiness", but it'll mean exactly the same: Not one iota of truth to it, just underbelly feeling and mostly of anger and hate.
LU: Well, King managed to leave three people completely flabbergasted at the table. First because his remark about "category"?! or "sub-group" ?! of people (never "race", mind you) came out of the blue and had nothing to do with the decreasing percentage of white people in America, but also because it was so much Drumpfiness in a few sentences, the others didn't know where to begin. But it must be said that King was magnanimous. He didn't stop at the borders of America with his "white people made the greatest contribution", but let the whole world rejoice in it. He'll make an excellent Secretary of State and advisor on Foreign Affairs to Drumpf, don't you think? He can then join his British colleague Boris Johnson in saying sorry to every one he meets.

How Ironic. Trumfs sons speaking for the "working man". They have never worked a day in their rotten lives. Their greatest acomplishment. Going on safari in Africa, and showing off the bodies of Elephants, Leopards Endangered species etc. that they had slaughtered What a GREAT family!! Not in my backyard!
