Samantha can’t help but be funny, but she wasn’t using the suffering of the LGBT victims of the Orlando massacre. Rather she was satirizing the pathetic protestations from the Republican Party. I’ve heard they saying that there can be no gun control, so them mean that even "radical Islamic terrorists", to ape the phrase they love to use in hatred toward Muslims, have the right to carry guns.
Samantha Bee, the best thing in late night television today, did what she does best last night, aiming her laser wit and ire at the mass shooting in Orlando…

Sam has common sense and pithy expession with it – it is humourous because our psyches recoild from the approproate weeping. Those she skewers are those who need to be skewered And her Bible reference is PRICELESS.

They have misinterpreted the Second Amendment so many times as to make it meaningless. The ban on Assault rifles ended in 2005, look how many people have died since then. It is a natuibak disgrace.

North of the 49th, I've been hearing pundits talking about the Orlando shooting and all of the ones I have heard have been condemning the loose gun laws and lack of common sense applied. I learned today that there was consideration to allow AR-15 assault rifles here for hunting game. That was shot down (no pun intended) very quickly. Sanity needs to return to the US and that will have to mean putting the NRA in its place.

Sam Bee is spot on, as usual. Accepting more than a mass shooting a day as the price for the freedom to own a semi automatic weapon, which is specifically made for the purpose of killing many fast and indiscriminately, is ludicrous. As she said, AR 15s are "a shitty choice for hunting and home protection, but perfect for portable mayhem." I won't even go into gun control in general and the way Republicans keep tying that to a violation of "their constitutional rights", and only offer more prayer for those who fear for their lives. This "I've got what I want, but you've only got a prayer that you won't be my next victim" type of thinking makes my stomach revolt.

Allowing those on the "no fly list" to buy guns is beyond stupid…and so Republican. To say "this could happen anywhere" is also beyond stupid… and so Republican. We need one volunteer to show the Republicans just how horrific assault weapons could be… 45 rounds a minute would eliminate a lot of the GOP. Prayer and thoughts just don't do it any more.
45 rounds a minute wouldn't eliminate any of the GOP. They are the party that provides such guns for Ammosexuals.
