Yesterday, Lu arrived in time, my window A/C was taken out, and I got my shower and became a pristine puddy tat. Today I have a grocery order and my new portable A/C coming. Because floor units are not as efficient as window units, I chose a 10,000 BTU unit to replace a 5,000 BTU window unit. Building staff will install it, either today or tomorrow morning, depending on what time it arrives. And it’s just in time! Tomorrow’s high here is forecast at 85°.

Wisconsin was an impressive double-digit win for Bernie, but because of the way they apportion delegates, Bernie cut into Hillary’s lead by only 11 delegates. He now needs 1,324 delegates to clinch the nomination. Hillary needs 634.
From Daily Kos: \Stanley Hoskins spent 13 years in Army, serving as a sergeant in the National Guard. His wife, Erica Flores Dunahoo, put down the first month’s rent at a Mississippi RV park, something she says they were doing to get out of financial difficulty. Stanley and Erica moved in with their children and Erica bragged how friendly everyone had been.
Unfortunately, once the whole family arrived, the situation and attitude of RV park owner Gene Baker quickly changed. From the Clarion-Ledger:
The next day, she said, Baker telephoned her and said, “Hey, you didn’t tell me you was married to no black man.”
She said she replied that she didn’t realize it was a problem.
“Oh, it’s a big problem with the members of my church, my community and my mother-in-law,” she quoted him as saying. “They don’t allow that black and white shacking.”
I don’t suppose we need to ask to which party Baker belongs, do we?
From The New Yorker:
In a sharply worded post-election threat on Tuesday night, the Republican Presidential candidate Donald J. Trump said that he intended to sue the entire population of Wisconsin “for everything it’s worth.”
In his terse remarks, Trump departed from the customs of political concession speeches by failing to congratulate the evening’s winner or thank his supporters, instead sternly warning the people of Wisconsin to “lawyer up.”
“By the time my attorneys are through with you, I’m going to own your entire state, lock, stock, and barrel,” he said. “Not that I want to own it. Wisconsin is a freaking dump.”
LOL Andy!! Will Fecal Dump Trump take a Trump dump on Fitzwalkerstan?

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
4:31 Well, gee, if you can't catch any food, you should at least be able to buy some in a touristy place like Cannes.
Count – Well, it still isn't over, is it.
DKos – The first reaction to this is probably anger, but it is also so sad. I could probably safely bet my Social Security check against a dime that Baker is not a veteran, and that Hoskins is therefore de facto the better patriot. And I'll refrain from repeating the state, because things like this can happen anywhere. Anywhere in the United States.
New Yorker – "Not that I want to own it. Wisconsin is a freaking dump.” Alas, it is, but it wasn't before they elected Scott Walker. Heaven help them.
Cartoon – Yeah, ain't that the truth.
Clever cartoon! lol.
Your both a very clean and a very smart cat, buying an A/C unit that has double the BTUs because it's less efficient on the floor, TomCat. Also good to give Lu (or rather her daughter) your old, but still very new, one. May she have many more showers in store for you. (And thanks for satisfying my curiosity about tobacco cravings and A/C units as well 😉 )
RCP: The delegates are stacked against Bernie once more, I see.
DK: Let me guess: a man who won't allow an inter-racial couple and their children to rent RV-space, while cowardly hiding behind others “Oh, it’s a big problem with the members of my church, my community and my mother-in-law,” could he possibly vote Republican? It's hard to predict which candidate he'll vote for, though. They're all equally racist. But his religious I ideology" may push him in Cruz's camp. Selling the RV park as soon as he's investigated sounds very Cruz-like too.
TNY: Andy, your last line of your column had me ROTFLMAO. Brilliant. I recommend reading the last paragraph of the article, which TomCat can't copy in a short take, for this treasure.
DK: It's unbelievable that this still happens. Very sad for this family too. I hope the NAACP and the folks at the Fair Housing Office help them get this matter resolved. No one needs to be treated like this!
NYer: "I am a fabulous loser,” he said. “I am the biggest loser in this country.” LOL, Andy!
Cartoon: Of course, absolutely!
Sounds like you are having a good day. Hope they get your AC done before the heat sets in. Weather here is @ 79 today/49 tonight! Brrr…for me! Enjoy your day & evening, take care, and Thanks, Tom.
I read yesterday where Clinton lost NV delegates to Bernie because they didn't show up to the conventions or changed their support so the totals may be less different if your source hadn't used those updated numbers yet…total changed to him having more
The ugliest word in the English language is "Miscegnation!" Is there actually some place in a standard bible that actually says "races" should not mix? I put "races" in quotes because we all go back to an African heritage…and so on!
Wisconsin: So from the GOPig side we have Mr. "God wants me to win!" and Mr. "I am God!" What a freaking farce!
Side of pig…pig side…pig belly…pig's ass!
Yeah, pig's belly is much too tasty.
Wow! Andy had got Drumpf down pat!!!
Baker was a twerp.
Glad Lu got by to fluff your kitty fur!
Congratulations on your shower and I hope your AC gets installed. I am jealous of your weather, we are supposed to get snow on Friday. We had 70 degrees today.
Real Clear Politics: Bernie has still done much better that anyone thought he would and he has turned the conversation in the campaign to a more progressive one.
Daily Kos: That is beyond disgusting, we should surely be past that discrimination by this time. Sad.
The New Yorker: Andy does it again!
Cartoon: Appropriate names for any contenders in the Republican base.
Puzzle — 3:13 You're too fast for me Puddy Tat!
Real Clear Politics — It ain't over til it's over! Go Bernie!!!
Daily Kos — I do believe the word "Republican" can now be officially listed as a word of derision, as well as a socially unacceptable epithet. This idiot is yet one more example.
The New Yorker — Good one Andy! I wonder how long it will take for someone to sue Drumpf for his lies etc. Would likely never happen because his supporters don't think. A sac of hammers is more intelligent!
Cartoon — Aren't these some of the women videoed shopping in WalFart?
I opened a tab in your name in all Cannes' finest dining spots! Dang!! That 1979 Chateau Lafitte Rothchild cost you a bunch!
Get the spelling right will you! It is Chateau LaFEET Rothchild! . . . Sasquatch feet! How did it taste?
Thanks all!! Hugs!!
