Last Sunday night my husband told me it would me Pi day in America on Monday, as he would because he's mesmerized by (special) numbers. Me not so much, but I've been going to American sites long enough to know that in the American date format March the 13th coincides with the first three digits of that misterious constant. Add to that the countries love of (apple)pie and we have another day to celebrate.
Thanks for the great graphics, Nameless. Another article which I enjoyed greatly. Thanks for cross posting, Joanne. And thanks for bringing it my attention, Judi.
A yummy looking and edible "Pi"… lol.
Amen and may the be with you!
it didn't preserve my equation between "the" and "be"
Great minds fall in the same ditch!

I would have forgotten it, and we won't have one this accurate now for a hundred years!
Actually last year (3/14/15) at 26 minutes and 53 seconds after 9 a.m., "Pi Day" was accurate to the first TEN (10) digits of π.

Thank you, Nameless and Joanne for cross posting.
