Ammon Bundy and his Republican Ammosexual terrorists invaded Oregon from red states like Arizona, Idaho, Nevada and Utah,. They have been infesting our fair state for fat too long. One of those thugs, LaVoy Finicum, is dead. Several more Republican terrorists, including Ammon “Dumber than Al” Bundy are in custody. Oregon is a little safer now, but I fear this will make America more dangerous.
Oregon standoff spokesman Robert "LaVoy" Finicum was killed and other leaders of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge occupation were arrested Tuesday after the FBI and state police stopped vehicles about 20 miles north of Burns.
Authorities did not release the name of the person who died at the highway stop, but Finicum’s daughter confirmed it was Finicum, 55, of Cane Beds, Arizona, one of the cowboy-hat wearing faces of the takeover.
"My dad was such a good good man, through and through," said Arianna Finicum Brown, 26, one of Finicum’s 11 children. "He would never ever want to hurt somebody, but he does believe in defending freedom and he knew the risks involved."
Ryan Bundy, 43, of Bunkerville, Nev., suffered a minor gunshot wound in the confrontation about 4:30 p.m. along U.S. 395. He was treated and released from a local hospital and was in FBI custody, authorities said.
Also arrested during the stop were his brother, Ammon Bundy, 40, of Emmett, Idaho, Ryan W. Payne, 32, of Anaconda, Mont., Brian Cavalier, 44, of Bunkerville, Nevada, and Shawna J. Cox, 59, of Kanab, Utah. They were charged with conspiracy to impede federal officers, a felony…

Considering how police have been so much less likely to kill armed Republican terrorists making threats than the are to kill unarmed black children, I have little doubt that the Republicans instigated the violence. And while I do feel sorry for and offer condolences to Finicum’s family, I do so with the plea that they turn away from their father’s violence, terrorism and sedition. His death means Oregon is a little safer that we were before, although the Ammosexual Republican terrorists that remain at the wildlife sanctuary seem to be spoiling for a fight.
Now that the Republican terrorist militias have a martyr, America may be more dangerous, as the praise and fame Republicans heap on Finicum may well prompt other deluded Republican wing-nuts to become terrorists.

Thanks TC…now for those that are still illegally possessing federal property who I read are threatening violence if anyone shows up there…
I, for one, am in full support of letting the Oregon “militia” folks occupy some Federal Property.
Specifically, about a 10’ x 7’ area … surrounded by concrete … except for a few bars facing the hallway
And I’d even let them all have it “rent free” … for maybe some 20 – 30 years.

Progressives, and people who have brains and hearts (but I repeat myself), have been speaking, writing, signing petitions for weeks to any and all law enforcement with any kind of jurisdiction to put a stop to these militants. I featured LaVoy Finicum specifically in "Everyday Erinyes" on January 23. Three days later he is dead. (Just to be clear, neither I nor anyone who reads that column wanted him dead. It is of course possible that, if it was the Furies who provided the Feds with the final push to action, they weren't quite specific on that.)
I do hope those who are alive, which I guess is all the rest, are sentenced to prison for many years, even though I guarantee they will lower both the tone and the IQ of any prison they are sent to. And I do realize that will not preclude civil war, which is always a possibility among humans.
Gotta agree with every point there, TC. Finicum's name will be the fire that will light the next Civil War, if not all care is taken with these people! I don't know what care can be taken, maybe psychotherapy and a bunch of medication!
Psychotherapy is useless with people who do not wish to be involved with it, and, happily most of the time, one can not be forced to take meds. These folks have no motivation for therapy.
The media is NOT going to allow the correct side to be just that and what we want.
They are ALWAYS going to make it appear the wrong side has some legitimacy.

I had not realized how large this movement was until today. I received an unsolicited email from a group called Off The Grid. Apparently there are millions of people who fear the government will take their private property and of course their guns, and are banding with each other. The Bundy's make good press and the more press they get, the larger their numbers will get. I think you are right, TC, a martyr has been created. I am sorry that anyone died, but if there is a group of mourners for someone killed by police, it should be for the 12 year old in Cleveland who was killed in the park.

As far as their numbers, remember they have a history of exaggerating. I would have to google dates and places, but I have a memory of events where they were expecting 10,000, and 20 (not thousand, just 20) showed up – and others with similar numbers. Mostly in 2015. I am not trying to say they are not dangerous. They are extremely dangerous. One rattlesnake is dangerous. But I do think they are exaggerating their numbers yet again,
There is still a long ways to go before this chapter is concluded. It seems to me that these yahoos only care about what they perceive as their rights, and nothing for the rights of others.
Three days ago Robert "LaVoy" Finicum was featured by Joanne as the welfare queen he appeared to be, complaining about four foster-children having been taken away from his ranch while he was illegally squatting in an Oregon park, destroying First Nation archeological artifacts and stealing government property. He was blubbering about not being able to run the farm without these foster-children, stupidly revealing he had "fostered" more than 50 over time, cashing in over $100,000 for them while working them as farm hands.
Then he get himself killed / is killed by the FBI and overnight he becomes a saint, "a good good man, through and through," a martyr for the cause "defending freedom." And in the coming days the media run by Murdoch and his ilk will cherish this image, bury his welfare queen history and turn him and the Bundys into even bigger saints and heroes, taking absolutely no responsibility for more people agreeing with and even joining these homeland terrorists.
