Here is the seventy-ninth article in our Republicans on Parade series, featuring individuals who personify what the Republican Party has become. Today’s honoree is Colorado State Representative JoAnn Windholz. She is so honored for blaming the victims for Republican terrorism.
Colorado state Rep. JoAnn Windholz issued a statement on the Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood attack that left 3 dead and 9 wounded last week. The Colorado Independent has the absolutely outrageous and jaw-dropping statement:
Violence – Where it starts.
The freedoms we enjoy in the United States include those that were made up to fit the audience and unsubstantiated numerical support, specifically the right to an abortion. When a violent act happens at a Planned Parenthood (pph) facility (most recent in Colorado Springs) the left goes on “auto-pilot” blaming everyone insight when they should be looking in a mirror. Free Speech has brought to light the insidious selling of baby body parts (pph has no shame). These facts and overall mission of the abortion industry would easily send anyone over the hill who wasn’t rational.
Oh, but wait—there’s more. Rep. Windholz was just getting started:
“Violence is never the answer, but we must start pointing out who is the real culprit. The true instigator of this violence and all violence at any Planned Parenthood facility is Planned Parenthood themselves. Violence begets violence. So Planned Parenthood: YOU STOP THE VIOLENCE INSIDE YOUR WALLS.”…

Thank you for "honoring" this – person, TC. I looked up her district, and it is pretty rural, so they probably love her there and are cheering loudly. She also will probably not have any difficulty getting reelected. She is term limited to 8 years, which is a plus. Some of our officials were grandfathered out of term limits, but not she.
It must have been difficult to pick one this week, TomCat, because it sure looked like Republicans were fighting to get into your Parade. But JoAnn Windholtz is a very good representative of the toxic slop the GOP had on offer this week after the Planned Parenthood shooting.
All that Republican (state) representatives ever do is try and stay a representative and that is cater to your voters who elected you the first time and give them what they want to hear, no matter how disgusting it is. And it's a bonus when the GOP likes what you say too. So JoAnn went for it, trying to secure her seat in 2016 by outtrumping every one else for a few seconds to be heard. Because according to the Daily Kos article Jo Ann isn't all that sure of a re-election: "She's up for re-election in 2016, winning her seat by a mere 106 votes in 2014. If you're a Republican who wins by 0.6% in a GOP wave, you're automatically highly endangered in 2016. Today’s outrageous statement will certainly not help her chances." Well, she must have thought different, now let's hope she thought wrong.

Windholz is an utterly deluded individual! I notice that I've been using that word, a lot, lately, to describe the crap these Teabggers, and Hairball. But, on examination, that seems the most plausible explanation for their perspectives.
Very sad commentary that JoAnn Windholz – an elected rep, no less – has decided to support terrorist attacks against America citizens for soley performing their jobs. Jobs which have been adjudicated by our highest Court to be perfectlly legal!

I read about her earlier and could hardly believe my eyes. Such a deserving . . . not sure what to call her! Definitely a Republican. I hope voters turf her out the next opportunity.
