It is that time of year again when leaves are falling, temperatures are cooler, and days are getting shorter, which conversely means nights are getting longer. It is also time to turn the clocks back by 1 hour.
Remember to set your clocks back by one hour before you go to bed Saturday night to adjust from Daylight Savings Time, which officially ends at 2 a.m. Sunday, November 1.
This is also a good time to remember to check your smoke detector and change the batteries.
Now, enjoy that extra pillow time and remember, it is a limited time offer!
Good night!

In Europe we fell back a week ago (always the last full weekend of October), and personally I'm glad we did. My biological clock feels more in sync with the cycle of light outside.
Enjoy your extra hour of sleep, my friends!
It just means an extra hour of work on the noc (graveyard) shift. We had to change all the clocks on the unit back one hour. In addition to springing ahead one hour meant the same thing in changing all the clocks ahead one hour, we had to move faster to get all our works done on that night. Ha! Messed up, eh… Good ole Ben Franklin in proposing this back in the days gone.

Care2 address http://www.care2.com/news/member/775377582/3923243, probably not needed, but I'm a bit compulsive.
You would think – even I would thnk – that I would be grateful for the extra hour of sleep. But the reality is, I am so much happier on Daylight time, that I wish it would stay Daylight (or I guess summer) time all year. I often don't bother to change most of my clocks, since my electronics change automatically and I can easily compensate for the ones that don't.
Nothing wrong in being a bit compulsive. lol. Sometimes the C2 links are needed to find the news stories in it to leave comments and to read what other people are saying. I do appreciate the links. Big THANKS and Hugzzz… to Joanne, Squach and Judi.
oops… misspelled the name "Squatch"… I think I'll stick with Lynn.
In Europe the time changed last Sunday, October 25.
I have to say that I prefer the daylight time and I would love it stays all year. Thank you.
Such a beautiful kitty! Got the clocks changed as soon as we go to bed! Thanks, Lynn! I would've forgotten!
