We won’t have many more opportunities to see Jon Stewart, before he moves to his new job, sop I couldn’t resist the chance to share this with you. Enjoy watching Jon take on the king of Texas TEAbuggery and suggest a plan for Cruz control.
If there is a bigger fool in the Republican clown car of presidential aspirants than Ted Cruz, then bring it. Jon Stewart tried to do everyone a favor on Tuesday night’s show when he played a round of, "Let’s get rid of Ted Cruz."
It’s a very easy game to play. All you have to do is catch Cruz in a moment of utter demagoguery and hypocrisy, like any time he just talks…

I virtually always agree with John Stewart on many, many things. However, this time I have to disagree, and he should disagree with himself. One thing Stewart and I have in common is that we both mine extreme TEAbuggery as raw material for humor. When it comes to TEAbuggery, a Cruz campaign is the mother lode.

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
While you certainly have a point about the humour mother lode, I still think all 47 of the traitors who signed the letter to Iran should be disqualified from the nomination on that ground alone. Now, who does that leave?
Well, I know Bush, Walker, Jindal, Perry, Fiorina, Santorum have all made supportive statements about Tom Cotton's seditios letter to Iran.
So I think that leaves only Huckabee who hasn't made any announcement about it.

Oh No! Not Upchuck Huck!!
You are correct, Joanne!
I've got my Birkenstocks ready ready for Cruz control.
LeftAction Petition:
Send Ted Cruz a message: "Senator Cruz, you owe us $24 billion"
Because that's the amount that S&P estimates the shutdown cost the economy. $24 billion. PETITION:

Thanks Jim. Signed
2 MoveOn PETITIONS:
One petition calls for arresting Tea Party Republicans for sedition against the United States.
Never before in American history has a radical right-winger been arrested and charged with sedition.
Perhaps it is time for that to change.

"Con artist Ted Cruz pocketed almost 2 million dollars off of his show. He’s clearly not in this for the country."

I wonder how many more petitions he'll have earned by the time he hits the first caucus/primary? Any guesses Jim?
Ted Cruz angered a lot of people including those of the GOP/TP/Kock Party with his "stunt" of shutting the Government down to the tune of costing him and his fellow praters many, many voters and owing the USA $24 billion dollars.. Ted may have, most likely, been taken to the outhouse and sternly scolded (beaten) by his fellow praters, followers. Ted is toeing the line and is, somewhat, behaving himself. There won't be another petition against him in the foreseeable future until after the 2016 election. With Ted being the way he is, anything can happen. lol.
Thanks for that Jim–yet these days there are petitions for retractions of almost every offensive statement a GOP person makes, especially if a personal attack…I don't think he'll toe the line well enough to avoid that for so long a time period.
Can we put on the Cruz Control and then have computer failure so it remains stuck in idle? Oops…that's what he does in Congress… sigh
"Presidential candidate Ted Cruz insists that the country needs a strong leader who can bring people together but seems to forget his own divisive condemnations of liberals." Excerpt.

Forgot to include this as an opener for the above excerpt from Jon Stewart's Show.
WATCH: Jon Stewart Hilariously Shreds 3 New GOP Presidential Hopeless Cases
Mike Huckabee sets the record for "lowest bar ever" when he announces he's "never thought of murdering anyone."
Got this for Jon's "shredding" of the new GOP Presidential Hopeless Cases from Alternet:

I think I've said enough and I'm tired and making too many mistakes in forgetting what I'm doing. So, I'm signing off for the night. Hugzzz.
Seems like Edie and I havw a similar problem . . . I can't seem to get the video on thecomedynetwork.ca . . . actually nothing is coming up right now. I did get to see Jon shread the 3 newest GOP candidates but then nothing. I'll try in the morning.
Works fine when using my Chrome & Fox browsers – but doesn't run in IE (Internet Explorer).
In Canada, we can only view Jon Stewart on http://www.thecomedynetwork.ca no matter the browser. At one time, we were too polite and we liked our free healthcare too much so we couldn't watch it on an American venue and had to go to the Comedy Network. Now, we just like our free healthcare. I guess we're no longer too polite! There must have been a glitch last night because I was just able to watch it.
I use Chrome as my primary browser and have done so for a couple of years.
thanks for the giggles Lynn
Jon was funny as only Jon can do. Cruz condemning Obama for being divisive, for pulling the nation apart? Like gag me with a spoon! Cruz prooves everytime he opens his mouth that he and the Republicanus/Teabaggerum are the divisive ones.
Psychologists do tell us we are more or hypersensitive to displays of negative characteristics we ourselves possess–but this takes that to a new extreme.
Started video then something happened… sorry.
I signed all the petitions posted here. Some I had already signed.
Me, too
