Every week, Republicans join a competition to see who can say the most outlandish things, and in the process, every week they push the envelope on just how despicable InsaniTEA can become. I trust that you will believe it, when I tell you that last week was no exception.
Hannity invites Palestinian guest on his show and proceeds to yell at him the whole time.
Fox’s Sean Hannity’s position on the war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza is that if you have any sympathy for Palestinians including civilians in Gaza, you sympathize with terrorists. Or maybe you are a terrorist. All the more so if you are a Muslim. And so, perhaps, it should not have been surprising when he invited Yousef Munayyer, the executive director of The Jerusalem Fund for Education and Community Development and its educational program, the Palestine Center, on his show in order to shout at him, and not let him speak.
The exchange, and we use the word 'exchange' loosely, went something like this:
“Is Hamas a terrorist organization?” Hannity asked.
“Do I get to actually speak now?” Munayyer answered.
“You have to answer the question, it’s a simple yes or no question,” Hannity said.
“Sir, you invited me on here as a guest,” Munayyer said. He continued to try to speak, but Hannity wasn’t having it.
“I’m asking a question. Is Hamas, whose charter calls for the destruction of Israel, is that a terrorist organization?” Hannity shouted. “That’s a yes or no question.”
“Thank you for your question, now I will provide an answer,” Muayyer said.
Hannity kept shouting. Somehow Munayyer could be heard saying: “It’s very telling to me, and it should be telling to your viewers as well, that the moment you have a Palestinian voice on your program who begins to explain the legitimate grievances of the Palestinians, not just Hamas…”
Hannity cut off Munayyer, shouting at him to answer the question. At one point, Munayyer said that “the United States certainly considers Hamas a terrorist organization we all know that.”
“Is Hamas a terrorist organization? What part of this can’t you get through your thick head?” Hannity said.
Yeesh, rude much?
At the end of the exchange, Munayyer asked again if he would “get to say anything in this conversation.”
Hannity responded, “You had your chance, you didn’t say Hamas is a terrorist organization. Goodbye.”
That’s dialogue, Hannity style…

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
1. Sean Hannity is the terrorist here.
2. Batshit Bachmann would know all about gays because Marcus has told her and he knows first hand what it's like to be a gay "predator". He "preyed" on all those who came to his "Pray the Gay Away" program.
3. Women all know that it's our own fault that we get abused and attacked. And, it's a woman's fault that Stephen Smith was born in the forst place and allowed to spout his venom.
4. Brian Kilmeade is in charge of Sara Palins's "Death Panels". Isn't he?
5 Steve King sounds like he's trying to prove his craziness to The Donald to get funding for a possible Presidential bid in 2016.
6. Pat, Pat, Pat. WWJD?
While not on the list as one of Last Week's Despicable Republican Moments, this one deserves as a notable, honorable mention. lol.
Republican Congressman Thinks Senior State Department Officials Are Visitors From India
A big blunder, a boner was made by and said, inside Congress, during a hearing of the House Foreign Affairs Committee meeting by Rep. Curt Clawson (R-FL)

Regarding the 6 "Despicable Right-Wing Moments This Week:", other commentators, above and below this comment and in C2 will prevail as long as they are not the gop/tp "troll" variety. lol.
Love that Perry toon! Perry IS a cartoon character! . . . a worthless POS. Won't it be fun to watch the look on his face when he realises he is no longer the "President of Texas" and he is summarily kicked out of the US presidential race. Unemployment line here Perry comes!
As to Clawson, he should be thoroughly embarrassed by his own stupidity. He might speak 4 languages but that doesn't mean he understands or reads any of them. He needs to learn the language of common sense but he's a Republicanus/Teabagger so that will be a cold day in hell when that happens.
Thanks Jim for the entertainment.
You are very welcome.

I'm not sure we can say categorically it's a woman's fault he was born. He was born in 1967 and Roe v Wade wasn't decided until 1973.
5. Jim Mowrer is running against him. Jim is a Progressive and also a decent human being (I wish they always went together, but life is not that simple.) http://mowrerforiowa.com/ (While I'm soliciting, in case anyone has missed it, Alan Grayson is doing a money bomb ending today with triple matching. https://secure.actblue.com/contribute/page/0714moneybomb?refcode=googtxt2)
6. Actually, if the grandparents get hold of him, he may well grow up to be a bastard. They are. So is Pat.
Who the heck is Horrible Hannity?! What a nasty little mean-spirited screaming apology for a human being! I have never heard of Yousef Munayyer either – but he comes out of that exchange as polite, intelligent and with the patience of a saint!
Does anyone else think the Repugs have gone completely off the wall crazy? I think some of their behaviour is certifiable – they simply MUST be drinking something odd to find such behaviour acceptable!
You are doing laundry again, right?
Alternet: I clicked thru and wished that I hadn't. The idiocy is mind boggling.
The cartoon says it all about faux news.
Hannity — That wasn't an interview! It was an ill mannered Hannity rant! Hannity wanted to get certain answers and wasn't going to let anyone in his way. Near the end, he actually made up Munayyer's answer for him saying "Then no." when in fact Munayyer was not getting a chance to speak. Typical 'make up the facts to suit your own view'! I agree with Pat, Munayyer showed the patience of a saint. I hope you didn't hear my language towards Hannity while the video was playing. I felt that Munayyer should have just left but then realised it would have done more harm.
Michele Bachmann — Totally unhinged! I would love to see her evidence for her claims . . . oh stupid me, she's a Republicanus/Teabagger and doesn't need to provide evidence. Her word is sterling. Pardon me but I have to hurl!
ESPN's Stephen A Smith — I learned a phrase about 45 years ago which goes "Load brain, fire mouth. Not Fire mouth, load brain."
Fox & Friends — You'd wonder just what immigrants (legal and illegal) see in the US "land of the free" (NOT) when they see things like this programme. Perhaps the US should have jumbotrons along the border looping the likes of Faux Noise BS. That might deter them. On the other hand, just maybe (as in it definitely is) what they are leaving, violence etc, is worse than Faux Noise.
Steve King — I am beginning to think there is a whole lot of inbreeding in the Republicanus/Teabagger ranks! Stupid is as stupid does!
Pat Robertson — His Bible is a few 'Thou shalts' short of the whole . . . and he doesn't seem to know it. This idiot needs to retire NOW!
The right wing nut cases never seem to disappoint us with their lunacy!
Thanks all. Wiped out.
