I've always loved the Little Drummer Boy song. It reminds us that gifts don't have to be purchased they can come from the heart, sharing our talents, singing our songs, dancing our dance. Gifts can come in the form of a song, in offering a hand of help, providing a meal to someone, visiting the homebound or those in Nursing Homes who may not receive any visitors. Take time to remember those who sit behind bars as political prisoners around this world, or for those who are in hospitals and sick at this time. Remember our Mother for we are all children of her. The gift of life we all experience is only because of her and the sun that allows such life, bathed in the cleansing waters and the air of spirit to allow our very existence. Take care of her, as any good son and daughter should, for children that turn on their very Mother that brought forth their life has lost their way.

MERRY CHRISTMAS to ALL!
This is my first Xmas alone, and in all honesty, it’s been pretty nice.
Chatted with my brother, nephew and cousin – and my Mom (97 y/o, and talked to her Christmas Eve because I know she get lots of calls today) and aunt (85 y/o) are coming down tomorrow. So basically I just get an extra day of prep time… not that I really needed it.
It's been over 20+ years since we have foregone gift giving, and instead we pick a charity to give to. All it was before was just an exchange of shopping lists, so this works much better. (Well, for the little ones we've gotten gifts – but there's only two of those left.)
So now it's pretty much like Thanksgiving – only with better decorations!
