I’m writing for tomorrow, and doing so very early, because I doubt there will be enough left of me to do so, when I return from the new place. I’m in moving mayhem minimal mode, but I do have one Short Take. Hugs to all.
Update: This is so late, because last night I came down with the galloping grunge that has been making the rounds here. I feel like crap… literally. I may disappear for a day or two.

From The New Yorker: Republican critics of Obamacare rose up in anger today, claiming that, after two months of fixes, the healthcare.gov Web site is now “unacceptably fast.”
Leading the howls of protest was the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), who accused President Obama of designing a Web site that operates at a “blistering, breakneck speed.”
“With pages loading in milliseconds, this Web site is insuring people before they know what hit them,” Rep. Issa charged. “Clearly, this is what the President and his team had in mind.”
Additionally, Rep. Issa said, at such high speeds “it is questionable whether this Web site is even safe for consumers to use, particularly the elderly.”

The New Yorker — I howled when I read this in my inbox yesterday. Issa think that Issa will make a big to-do over the improvements. Such a putz! AB is so funny! . . . and too often spot on!

Personal — My little girl, Annie seems to have disappeared about noon when some workers were in and out. I didn't see her get out of the house, and the boys were still here but scared at the time. Please say a prayer for safety and return. I've been in tears much of the afternoon because of this and with everything else, I don't need this additional worry. Thanks guys.
Lynn, I know what it's like to lose a kitty, even for a little while. Please tell us she's back home safely with her "family".
About 12:30 a.m. my little monkey showed up at the top of the basement stairs. Seems she went on a little adventure and didn't come when called and didn't show herself when I went down there looking for her. They aren't allowed in the basement at all . . . none of my babes has been in the basement during the 25 years I have lived here. Of course she was hungry but the boys kept eating her kibble. Breakfast will be shortly so I imagine she'll be hungry.
I was so happy, I cried again and again. Too bad tears can't count as a bath because I would have had a whole month's worth of baths!
So glad your Annie showed up. One of mine is named Annie, too.
New Yorker ~ I wonder if Issa knows how often he is the butt of so many peoples' jokes. GOP hates tht the website is up and running now.
