Ok, I've seen the Colbert Report and it was the 24/10/12 episode. I had already seen Trump's bombastic proposition. But Colbert certainly puts an interesting and funny spin on it!
I saw a clip of Trump on the David Letterman show. Trump was his usual bombastic self but Letterman shut him up with total embarrassment. Trump was talking about China and Mr Obama's failure, in his eyes, to haul China on the carpet for trade practices. Eventually Trump brings up Macy's (I think) and their high end clothing, made in America. Letterman has a few things — shirts and ties. Shows the shirt first, then some ties. Trump says look at those great looking American made ties. Letterman turns it over — Made in China! Trump had the most stupid look on his very red face and didn't say another thing. Damn, I love it when a fool get whittled down to size!
