I don’t subscribe to HBO, but I am a big fan of Bill Maher. Though he is seldom politically correct, and occasionally offensive, he has a unique way of wrapping truth in hilarious satire. So I bring you his videos, whenever I can.

I particularly liked his spoof on Scott ‘Bankster Boy’ Brown! He may have been too rosy in how he pictured the economy, and to be sure, we lave a long way to go, but of two things we can be certain. Barack Obama had nothing whatsoever to do with causing the Republican recession. The Republican Party had nothing whatsoever to do with the progress made toward a Democratic recovery.

From the time I started coming to PP, I have always been amazed by the number of Americans who expected Mr Obama to fix everything "instantly". I mean, he took office in 2009 and by the time of the 2010 midterms, people were annoyed that the economy had not 'magically' recovered and that Gitmo had not been closed. It took Baby Bush and his wrecking crew 8 years to destroy the economy! Two years to fix is not possible, despite the influence of magic underwear. The US is not a McDonald's fast food drive through! And when the deep fryer (Congress) isn't working, well that Happy Meal just isn't going to happen. The rats were and still are responsible for spreading the black plague. And so too the Republican/Teabaggers will remain responsible for the failed economy.
