Yesterday I must still have been pooped, because after blogging, I slept through most of the day again.  It’s probably a good thing, because the last week of this month will be just like the last week of last month.  I’m current with replies.  Tomorrow is a holy day in the Church of the Ellipsoid Orb.

Jig Zone Puzzle:

Today’s took me 3:21 (average 4:48).  To do it, click here.  How did you do?

From MoveOn: This Businesswoman Tells Romney Where To Take His ”Personal Responsibility” Pep Talk

The real reason that Lord Willard and his Vulture Capitalist cronies hate the 47% is that they are not helping to pay Lord Willard’s and his Vulture Capitalist cronies’ fair share of the tax burden. We are not victims, but Lord Willard and the Republican Party want us to be their victims.

From NY Times: Early voting in Ohio the weekend before the election was restored for all voters on Friday by the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, giving President Obama’s campaign another victory in its legal battles with Republicans over voting issues.

The state’s Republican-led administration had imposed a measure that allowed voting that weekend only for members of the military and people living overseas, arguing that the state had to reduce the strain on the election system from statewide early balloting.

Democrats and Mr. Obama’s campaign had cried foul, arguing that the measure unfairly disenfranchised minorities and others who often wait until the last weekend. Those voters are considered likelier to back the Democratic candidates.

Woooo Hoooo!!!

From The New Yorker: Taking a victory lap after their candidate’s win in the first Presidential debate Wednesday night, Romney campaign insiders today attributed his success to his strategic use of relentless lying.

“We worked for hours on this during the practice debates,” said the campaign manager Matt Rhoades. “We were, like, ‘Mitt, if you find yourself on the verge of saying something true, bite your tongue.’ ”

Sadly, what makes this humorous is its perfect intersection with reality.

  1. 3:41  I stumbled a bit, but then I don't see how anyone can walk in shoes like that.

  2. Puzzle — 3:28  The Pope has a pair of red shoes too!

MoveOn — I do so wish that letters like this one would capture Romney's attention, but they won't because his handlers will ensure he stays focused on the lies.

New York Times — Eeee Haaa!  . . . or I guess Democratic Donkeys would say Hee-Haw!!!

The New Yorker — “All the hard work and practice lying really paid off,” Mr. Rhoades said. “Plus hanging out with Paul Ryan.” — The first honest statement out of the Republican/Teabagger campaign!

Cartoon — I had always liked Sadat and appreciated his willingness to work with Begin and Carter on a peace plan.

  3. Roni Sutton is the type of small business owner tax breaks should benefit.

Another win against voter suppression in Ohio! I agree ~ WOOO HOOO!

Mittens didn't need to practice lying. He already had that down pat. He was probably practicing keeping his temper tantrums down.

Sadat might have been able to do more good if the fanatics didn't get to him. A sad day.
