Last night my COPD was sufficiently severe to keep me up coughing most of the night. I finally got just enough sleep to get started over two hours late this morning, so I’m running behind. I’m current with replies. Tomorrow I have an appointment in the morning that may delay my blogging, bit should not prevent it.

Losing to Lord Willard’s holder of nothing would have been sooooooo humiliating!!! 😉
Short Takes:
From MoveOn: The Greatest JFK Quote For Liberals
Republicans made liberal a dirty word with their lies. It’s time to take it back with our truth.
From Seattle Times: A judge postponed Pennsylvania’s controversial voter identification requirement on Tuesday, ordering the state not to enforce it in this year’s presidential election but allowing it to go into full effect next year.
That’s a huge win for the good guys. If Republicans want to steal PA they’ll have to find another way.
From The New Yorker: With the first Presidential debate just two days away, G.O.P. nominee Mitt Romney has been working intensively on two skills that have eluded him throughout the campaign: talking and thinking.
What a hopeless cause!

Puzzle — 4:47 I think I'm pretty sharp! I get the point!
MoveOn — My favourite JFK quote is "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country." Something that Republican/Teabaggers would be wise to heed. And let's be clear 'raping and pillaging' is doing TO the country, not FOR the country. This is also an excellent quote and I am definitely a liberal, and proud of it!
"Republicans [Conservatives in Canada] made liberal a dirty word with their lies. It’s time to take it back with our [the] truth."
AMEN!!!!!
Seattle Times — Good news for Pennsylvania! I hope all this voter suppression and election fraud blow up in Republican/Teabagger faces like one of those exploding cigars!
The new Yorker — Borowitz is soooo funny! I hope this is all in jest otherwise Romney has no business even being the Republican/Teabagger nominee.
Cartoon — You'd think that 50 years is more than enough! If the GOP wins the election, you can count on an invasion of Cuba if for no other reason that to liberate their cigars! I hear they go great with a fine port wine.
Get out the vote!!!!! Four more years!!!!!
Vote Democratic 2012!!!!! Vote Obama/Biden 2012!!!!!
Beat me!
RepubliSpeak version: Ask not what your billionaire can do for you. Ask what you can do for your billionaire.
See today's lead article.
What makes it funny is that it is true.
I agree!
4:16 I avoided the spines and did not get stuck on this puzzle.
Excellent time! And I thought I did well beating TC. You cleaned house! Now let's see if Patty beats you!
Dang!!
5:18 This was a prickly little puzzle.
One for Jerry!
I love the quote from JFK, one of my personal heroes. I took a survey recently to see where you stood on the liberal or conservative scale. I was so far left, I think I skewed their test.
LOL! I would be too!
