Yesterday I spent most of the day going to a doctor appointment.  I am finally strep-free, but still have a bronchial infection, for which she gave me a prescription for a new antibiotic.  I’m trying to return slowly, so this will be today’s only article.  I’m not current with replies, but I did manage generic thanks.  We’ll see what tomorrow brings.

    Puzzles — The only noteworthy one for me that I can remember was the aquarium in which I was 1 minute under average!

    MoveOn — This ‘all boys’ class of  2008/10 gets a failing grade and will be permanently suspended come Nov 2012 and 2014!  Why do the 5 women want to hang out with these losers?  I’ll bet McConnell and other Party officials had something to say to them!  Or is it all politiking since the House has their version too?

    Obama at the White House Correspondents Dinner — I know that Mr Obama has writers, but I’m sure he was the one that set the tone for that speech.  I thought it was effective and funny how he used some of the GOP attacks against him to lighten things up.  I do however think, in light of the amount of animal cruelty that abounds, the reference to pit bulls tasting good was insensitive, although I do understand its reference.

    Rachel Maddow — Do the Republican/Teabaggers really think that the American public don’t remember and don’t care about who ordered the hit on Bin Laden and who supported GM?  I guess the low-effort thinking Americans will accept what Faux Noise and Rmoney tell them, but the rest will remember very clearly.  Even I, who has no direct stake in the election, remember that Rmoney said “Let them fail” which of course would put a lot of Americans on the unemployment line.  And we all know that Rmoney doesn’t care about the American worker — after all, all his workers are overseas enduring harsher working conditions for less money.  It wouldn’t surprise me if Rmoney had a plan to bankrupot GM so he could buy it for pennies on the dollar, then reconstitute it, and finally sell it for a big profit.

      Good question!  I have no doubt that Bought Bitch Mitch gave them an earful.

      Perhaps.  I bet they got the comment from the lead in Last of the Mohicans.

      Truthfully, they are just trying to fool everyone they possibly can.  They have no other way to get votes.

    Glad you’re a little better.  There is no way that Romney is going to be able  to fake the “I would have done the same thing on Bin Laden and GM” thing.  Best to just not talk about it because we all know it’s a lie.
