Welcome to Brewerstan

It pains me to announce the demise of the state of Arizona and its replacement by the Totalitarian Corporate Plutocracy of Brewerstan.  It is modeled after the Totalitarian Corporate Plutocracy of Fitzwalkerstan, formerly Wisconsin.  There are minor differences.  While the chief executive of Fitzwalkerstan is a Fartfuhrer, Scott Walker, Brewerstan is headed by a Death Angel, Jan Brewer, infamous for killing her subjects by defunding their scheduled transplant operations.  Here’s the Brewerstan flag and news from Brewerstan from John Nichols.

Two days after Ohio voters overwhelmingly rejected Governor John Kasich’s anti-labor agenda by a sixty-one to thirty-nine margin in a statewide referendum, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker jetted to Arizona to launch the next front in the national campaign to attack union rights.

After meeting with former Vice President Dan Quayle, Walker was whisked over to the Phoenician Resort in Scottsdale, where he briefed a thousand Arizona conservatives on how they could attack “the big-government union bosses.”

“We need to make big, fundamental, permanent structural changes. It’s why we did what we did in Wisconsin,” declared Walker [Koch/ALEC Group delinked], who at the annual dinner of the right-wing Goldwater Institute [Koch/ALEC Group delinked] said that compromising with unions was “bogus.”

Comparing governors who have been attacking the collective-bargaining rights of public employees with the founders of the American experiment—“just like that group that gathered in Philadelphia”—Walker told his listeners: “We need to have leaders not just in Wisconsin but here in Arizona…”

If anyone missed the point, Walker said [Koch/ALEC Group delinked]: “Tonight, you might say I’m preaching to the choir with a bunch of fellow conservatives.… I preach to the choir because I want the choir to sing. So tonight I’m asking you to sing. Tell the message in Arizona and all across America that we can do things better.”

The crowd was listening.

This week, Arizona Governor Jan Brewer—fresh from pointing her finger in the face of President Obama—and her allies in the Republican-controlled state legislature announced that they would try to outdo the anti-labor initiatives of Walker and Wisconsin’s Republican legislators.

And they did so in conjunction with the very people Walker has consulted with, spoken to and urged on in November: The Goldwater Institute [Koch/ALEC Group delinked]… [emphasis added]

John Nichols has the answer. To restore Arizona, recall the Brewerstan Death Angel, Jan Brewer!

  1. That insane incompetent Brewer, who has the speaking ability and reasoning power of the average third grader, should never have been elected in the first place. I agree: WALKERIZE her with a recall!

  2. MY QUESTION 1ST ; HOW IN THE NAME OF ALL THAT IS HOLY DID THESE BASTARDS GET ELECTED IN THE FIRST PLACE?  WALKER IS WELL ON THE WAY TO DESTROYING WISCONSIN- AND BREWER — A CRAZY OLD WITCH IF EVER I SAW ONE , IS NOW DOING HER LEVEL BEST TO DO THE SAME THING FOR ARIZONA—

    • The Tea Baggers said right up front they were going to abolish the middle class and, in 2010, the middle class voted for its  own extinction. Simple as that.

    • What Republicans say they are going to do and what Republicans do bear no relation to each other.

  3. I’ve never held the Az-holes in much esteem anyway, of course I’m sure, as in all these pits of hell there are a few dis-located souls who must endure this tea-buggery, but alas they generally have got what they voted for – and it seemingly is what they want – so let them be – we’ve known all along the Brewster is a “dog” – and although she can’t think for herself she is under corporate “mensa” who are more than capable of doing the thinking for her – and evidently everyone else !  it would be nice however, if there are certain educators and law enforcers who might be able to think for themselves and call in sick for a very long time! Until  that dog retires or dies or is exiled from her “stan”,  whichever might conveniently come first!

  4. The “angel of death” is in desparate need of a recall!

  5. AZ – Wake up!  You’re state is about to be taken over by lunatics!  Get Brewer, that ugly bitch (oh, jeez, I’ve never seen someone so ugly hold a public office) OUTTA THERE!

  6. OMG!!!  Walker the poster boy for Republican/Teabagger moral destitution!  And he’s passing on his tricks of the trade!  Obviously, battle axe Brewer is an over achiever based on her plan to not just go after some public unions as in Wisconsin, but she’s going after them all with the intent to obliterate them.  If recall is the only legal option, I say get the petitions out!

The more I see that woman (and I use the term lightly!), the more I realise that she spits venom from 50 metres!  I hope that the legal authorities can find something to nail her with too — something that would result in her wearing prison orange, at not at some club fed!

I was talking with friends of mine who vacation in Arizona with her parents.  I knew they were evangelicals but oh my, talking Republican/Teabagger politics was not a good idea.  I’m just not sure how much they really know about the current situation in Arizona, but my guess is that they voted for the Conservatives here.  I had to cut short our chat and left shaking my head.  As people, very nice, and we have a lot of things in common, but politics is not one of them!

Have you heard whether the Wisconsin recall has been certified yet?  or have the Democrats lined up a candidate?  How can Scott Walker fly all over creation on non state business?  I hope they are docking his pay!

    • Lynn, all too frequently conservatives vote the way someone they consider authoritative tells then to vote, whout knowing anything about it.

I have not heard anything new.
