Yesterday was a holy day in the Church of the Ellipsoid Orb. I was quite happy with the Bronco’s performance, scoring 29 points against the league’s #1 defense, and it was one hell of a good game, ending with a touchdown pass on the first play from scrimmage in OT. I’m current with replies. Today I have a ton of paperwork to do.

Today it took me 3:17 (average 4:17). To do it, click here. How did you do?

From MoveOn: The Secret That Mitt Romney Doesn’t Want You To Know
Multiple Mitt has created lots of jobs… in China.
From USA Today: Defense Secretary Leon Panetta says Iran is laying the groundwork for making nuclear weapons someday, but is not yet building a bomb and called for continued diplomatic and economic pressure to persuade Tehran not to take that step.
As he has previously, Panetta cautioned against a unilateral strike by Israel against Iran’s nuclear facilities, saying the action could trigger Iranian retaliation against U.S. forces in the region.
In stark contrast, the Republican war drums beat on.
From Think Progress: During Sunday morning’s Meet the Press debate, GOP front-runner Mitt Romney suggested that people who need a job to pay to their mortgage shouldn’t run for office.
Only the super rich are fit to govern in Mitt’s view. How Republican!

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
Mittens is really being targeted today, and rightfully so. When I first heard that he was essentially what I call a corporate chop shopist, I certainly was not impressed. Yes it is a way of making money, but it is not a way to gain respect. Yet, based on how I understand the Republican/Teabagger platform, it actually makes sense. Smaller government, chop here, chop there. First the EPA is totally neutered, then education is canibalised. Mittens wouldn’t have a hard time with that because that is what he did in business. Just ask the steel worker in Kansas in the video.
And then the other Republican/Teabagger rabble jumped on him. Looked like Newty and Santorum both had steel toed boots on. Better than a barroom brawl. But in reading several other Mittens stories, Mitt is stepping in stuff that does not smell sweet! I hope he has hip-waders on!
Nice picture of Mr Flip-flop.
The Republican/Teabagger war drums beat on, but I hope it is only in their imaginations. Ahmadinejad just loves to saber rattle, and the Israeli government would just love to take his saber away from him in a pre-emptive first strike, but that cannot be allowed to happen. The situation must be managed diplomatically and economically. Let’s hope the Republican/Teabaggers do not win the 2012 election otherwise there will be war.
Agree. We call it a corporate raider here, but your analogy is perfect.
Thanks!
Make the last word plural and I agree.
That Move-On video took the words right out of my mouth! Mitt Romney is a greedy, self-centered corporatist snake in the grass. Our job is to KEEP HIM THERE!
Right on!
Israel and the republicans have a lot in common, especially with the hawk in office in Israel, between the repubs, Israel and Iran they’re all “saber rattlers” – I’ll probably be accused of being an anti-Semite, but I find their treatment of Palestine untenable as I do with most of their hawkish positions – we get back to religion again don’t we! I don’t like any of the religious people involved in any of these countries, and they all want war, war, war – hip hip hooray!
Romney’s outsourcing for profit organization was brought up in yesterday’s debate causing a little bit more of the “Romney squirm” than usual, because it’s so hard to defend something you know you’re guilty of.
As I have Hebrew blood, calling me an anti-Semite might be absurd, but I agree with you.

Congrats on the Bronco’s win.
They were all rattling their sabers in all the debates except for Huntsman.
Not bad!
Thanks!
That’s because he is a diplomat.
4:24 I’m number three today. Didn’t even beat the average.
I finally one one and have a good time for today’s too.
All the Repubs who have outside jobs (I mean out of politics) do this – he’s not the first one to think this up.
The Iranians are going to do what they want to. No amount of sanctions will change their mind. But we did just pick up a stranded fishing boat of theirs so that’s a plus in our column. You can’t rationalize with irrational people. I still think that Karzai has let his power go to his head and I think he will ally himself with the Iranians. Now with the Americans out, Karzai can do anything he wants and get away with it. I don’t see him fighting the Taliban and has probably aligned himself with them already. Now that his sock puppet Bush is gone, he will.
Oh, so now we are all serfs according to Romney. That’s just great. People who can’t afford their mortgages can’t enter into politics to pay their bills. Mittens, I’m pretty sure that’s not in the Constitution.
That pic makes Mittens look like a conjoined twin with 2 brains on a stick, neither one that functions.
Do what, Lisa?
Lisa, The Americans are not out of Afgnanistan, but when we do leave, I think you’re right about Karzai.
Since when have Republicans cared about the Constitution?
Two faces… 1/2 a brain.
