Charlie Brown ala GOP

One of the good things about slow news holiday weekends is that I get an opportunity to share some humor that would normally be crowded out by more important matters, like this clip from Jimmy Kimmel.

…So finding a clip that simultaneously hits notes of spirited political discourse and Thanksgiving cheer (basted with a healthy dose of pastiche nostalgia) is something of a holiday miracle…

It’s amazing how much like cartoon characters they really are.

  1. It’d be funny if it wasn’t true.

  2. I found this clip to be pretty funny. It might have been better if it was the Three Stooges though.

  3. That is so funny!!  I’ve never heard of Jimmy Kimmel (but then I don’t watch TV!), but I have to figure that he leans democrat!  A Republican/Teabagger would never make fun of the candidates otherwise he’d likely have the GOP gestapo (Norquist and Rove) all over him like fleas on a dog’s back!

  4. Just funny!!

  5. It does freshen it up, don’t you think?

  6. This is too funny! I finally understand that this whole biz of these debates isn’t really serious – it’s voice-overs for Kimmel Kartoons, I’m so relieved – all this time I kept thinking the country had a problem – no wonder there has to be so many debates – my question is – how much are these voice-over actors paid and do they get royalties?

  7. They are all stupid little children – spoiled brats to be exact!
