It’s official.  Countdown with Keith Olbermann on Current TV will debut on June 20 at 8:00 PM EDT or 5:00 PM PDT.

Keith

Cable network Current TV says Keith Olbermann will return to the air on June 20.

The weeknight news-commentary hour will be called “Countdown,” the same name Olbermann used on MSNBC until his heated departure in January.

Less than a month later, he signed with Current TV, the public affairs channel launched in 2005 by former Vice President Al Gore and Joel Hyatt…

Here it is from Keith himself.

Current TV is available on the following stations: Direct TV, 358; Comcast, 107; Time Warner Cable, 103 NY and 142 LA; Dish Network, 196; Verizon FIOS, 192; AT&T U-Verse, 189.

June 20 can’t come soon enough.

  1. It will be some channel flipping going on unless MSNBC re-arranges it’s schedule cuz I kind of like when O’Donnell gets his drawers in a knot too. If they would cut the second shoing of Hardball or move it to that time slot that would be cool.

  2. Just another thing we miss in the backwoods…good TV. Got a ton of sports and if you pay thru the nose a few movie channels & MORE sports. I’ll still be missing Keith in northern Minnesota, but will call my cable to see WHEN he will become available!

    • Zada, I’m sorry to hear that. You will get so see occasional clips here, provided that Current switches to an embeddable player.

  3. I’m glad I get CurrentTv. It’s 134 on my Time Warner cable.

  4. I hope to see Keith do his new show. I miss him and can’t wait!!! Gotta see where it is on our cable guide….
