Yesterday I slept, and I caught up on comments this morning. Today Iβll rest, prepare a special meal, and contemplate the meaning of the day.
Jig Zone Puzzle:
Today it took me 4:07 (average 4:49). To do it, click here. How did you do?
Short Takes:
From AP/Google: Millions of gallons of potentially hazardous chemicals and known carcinogens were injected into wells by leading oil and gas service companies from 2005-2009, a report by three House Democrats said Saturday.
The report said 29 of the chemicals injected were known-or-suspected human carcinogens. They either were regulated under the Safe Drinking Water Act as risks to human health or listed as hazardous air pollutants under the Clean Air Act.
The Republican position is for us to go frack ourselves so they can deregulate more.
From Boston Globe: The Federal Aviation Administration has suspended another air traffic controller allegedly caught sleeping on the job and said it would take immediate steps to end the scheduling system responsible for putting sleepy controllers behind the microphone.
The Union wants fewer hours and safer scheduling. Republicans are trying to bust the union.
From PC World: The toilet of the future can be yours for $6300 at the end of the month when it launches in the U.S. (Is it just me, or is that the first time we’ve reported a launch date for a toilet?)
Republican tax cuts for millionaires made this company possible.
Cartoon:
Celebrate Easter. Give a Bagger a cross and nails. (That was not intended to be a factual statement.)

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
Isn’t the celebration of Oestre, the pagan goddess of spring, next Sunday?
It is. Am I supposed to know what day it is? π
4:06 Just barely! I’m 40 out of 107 (374).
Today will be more difficult.
That Jon Kyl statement just keeps on giving, eh?
