My doctor was overbooked yesterday.  Counting my travel time, my 15 minute appointment and 10 minute vampire session took 4.5 hours.  The worst is that I had just taken a shower, and while getting dressed, I forgot to apply an nicotine patch.  It was a gruesome trip.  I’m up to date on comments, but I have mid-month paperwork to do.  Also, I slept poorly and feel quite exhausted.

Jig Zone Puzzle:

Today it took me 4:19 (5:16 average).  To do it, click here.  How did you do?

Short Takes:

From NPR: Saudi Arabia and other Gulf nations sent forces to Bahrain after a request from Bahrain’s royal family. Protesters have been demonstrating for more than a month against the island nation’s government.

Iran is busting a gut over this, as the population is Shia, bit the rulers, Sunni.

From Alternet: State Rep. Martin Harty (R-NH) has resigned from the New Hampshire House of Representatives following his comment to a constituent that mentally challenged people and other "defective" people should die in a modern-day Siberia.

By spreading the word, when the MSM would not touch this story, we helped bring this GOPSOB down!

From FOK News Channel: Evan Bayh, Alleged Democrat, Joins Fox News As Paper Lion Punching Bag Commentator, Months After Complaining Of The Shrill Partisanship In The Senate.

What an accursed DINO liar he is!  He could not have chosen a more partisan environment.  That’s what to expect from a DINO that almost always goose-stepped with the Reich.

  1. While I’m glad to see bigoted Marty Harty put out to pasture, Teapublicans are just like that mythical creature, the Hydra. It was that nine-headed serpent that if you cut off one of its heads, it grew TWO back.

So yesterday we learned that Kansas state Rep. Virgil Peck advocated shooting undocumented immigrants … from a helicopter … like feral pigs!

Clearly the Teapublican Party has an unlimited supply of unbridled racist, hate-mongering assholes.

  2. I left a comment earlier today on this thread and it did not show up. When I tried to re-post it a message came up saying I had already said it and once again it did not post.

Are my comments for some reason or other going into the junk pile if I call Republicans Nazi’s? I’m just curious as to why they failed to post.

    • AP, Akismet, my spam filter, caught them. The URL contained the terms “brilliantbreakfast” and “dog-walker”. Since both terms sound commercial, I’m sure it must have thought it was a commercial advertisement.

I deleted one because it was a duplicate and released the other as soon as I saw it.

  3. Well the last one showed up so lets see it this one will.

So how evil are Republicans? This is a comment I left at another site earlier today and tried to leave here. It did not post so with that in mind let me try again.

Walker of Wisconsin authorized the killing of puppies and other animals at the shelters as he and the Repuklicans passed the anti union bill.

It allows the selling of those in the shelters for $1 dollar, that’s right, $1 stinking lousy dollar to be used for experimentation otherwise known as R&D.

SECTION 2704. 174.13 (2) of the statutes is amended to read:

174.13 (2) Any officer or pound which has custody of an unclaimed dog may release the dog to the University of Wisconsin System, the University of Wisconsin–Madison, the Medical College of Wisconsin, Inc., or to any other educational institution of higher learning chartered under the laws of the state and accredited to the University of Wisconsin System or University of Wisconsin–Madison, upon requisition by the institution. The requisition shall be in writing, shall bear the signature of an authorized agent, and shall state that the dog is requisitioned for scientific or educational purposes. If a requisition is made for a greater number of dogs than is available at a given time, the officer or pound may supply those immediately available and may withhold from other disposition all unclaimed dogs coming into the officer’s or pound’s custody until the requisition is fully discharged, excluding impounded dogs as to which ownership is established within a reasonable period. A dog left by its owner for disposition is not considered an unclaimed dog under this section. If operated by a county, city, village or town, the officer or pound is entitled to the payment of $1 for each dog requisitioned. An institution making a requisition shall provide for the transportation of the dog.”

How soon before he authorizes experimentation of human beings?

Who said the republicans are not Nazi’s? They better start thinking again about what they truly are.

They are PURE EVIL, that’s what they are.

  4. Okay, well that did not go very well. I just tried again to leave my earlier comment and it did not show up either. So I guess there’s something in the spam filter that will not allow my particular comment to post the way I wrote it.

So let me try linking to it instead and see if that works.

  5. Well that comment took so there must have been something wrong in the way my comment was written that would not allow it to post. Read it at the link above that I left.

  6. 4:11 Close one. This time I was on the winning side. Now I’m 24 out of 74 (324). 🙂
