Yesterday when writing my articles in the early AM, I felt a little feverish. When I got up the second time, the flu-bug had hit full force, and I felt like something I should have buried in my cat box long ago. I spent the day in bad, and will likely do so again today, after posting a single article in addition to this one. I will catch up with everyone’s comments and blogs as soon as I can.

From nwfdailynews: Authorities say security for last weekend’s canceled Quran burning at a central Florida church cost around $200,000. City officials say they expect the church to pay.
Police Maj. Rick Hanna said more than 200 officers were on duty last weekend patrolling the church, the University of Florida football game and "soft targets" like the mall. Another 160 sheriff’s deputies were also working because of the planned protest at Dove World Outreach Center.
Frankly I hope the community sticks it to these Republican bigots with a vengeance.

Tom, you have an almost slam dunk win against me on week 4. All of my starting running backs have the week off. I think I have to scramble for at least one other player, as well. There is good reason that I am not trash talking, trash doesn’t taste very good when one has to eat his words.
Time will tell, Otis. Watching bye weeks is the fantasy football nightmare. I have no doubt that Lisa will talk trash for you. 😉

It’s called a flu shot – Walgreens and CVS both take insurance and if not, it’s $20, SO GET ONE. Geez, you men can be so stupid about your health. I had to rag at Otis for a YEAR, to go see the eye doctor (and insurance covered the visit and most of his eyeglasses). Stupid shit! I finally made the appt for him, me and the kids, so he HAD to go. I make his doctor appts now so he has to go. He has 2 missing teeth from his head, but will he go to the dentist – NO. I’d call and make the appt, but I don’t know his name! He can his son to the ortho, but him going to the dentist, NO WAY. 🙄 🙄 🙄 🙄
Oh, and that stupid church should pay! With 50 members, I doubt they get $200K a year! They’ll have to declare bankruptcy (like that Catholic church did in Boston a few years ago) and disband! What’ll they have to sell off – they’re trailer? The minister will have to declare bankruptcy too for all those fees he got for appearing on Faux News. I LOVE IT!!! 😆
HA, Otis is still in first place! Great Cartoon – I watched a vid (maybe it was here) on how the Feds should privatize the USPS. In rural areas (a lot of farms out there!), it would cost like $15 to send a letter! The USPS only gets $96M in Fed funding – to cover overseas ballots coming in and something else. And they made a profit of $3M dollars this year. Yeah, let’s privatize the Post Office. (Oh, it was on Faux news and Al D’Amato (former R – NY) cursed him out for his ‘racist bullshit’ because some GOP operative call the people working there ‘should be driving a cab’ and they were from ‘Nigera and Ethopia’. D’Amato would even let him comment again, saying ‘I’ve listened to your racist bullshit, now shut up!’ It was HILARIOUS. 😉 😆
