From TPM: Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has come out in support of congressional hearings into the matter of whether the US Constitution grants citizenship to every person born in the United States — so-called ‘birthright’ citizenship.
As we have learned in our Constitutional study, there is nothing for hearings to investigate. All people born here are citizens. Mitch “Bought Bitch” McConnell has joined the Republican “anchor babies” meme, proving that GOP racism goes all the way to the top.

Pretty ironic about Bitch McConnell and the Constitution. Rightwingers are always shouting that the Constitution means exactly what it says, and we don’t need some pointy-headed intellectual judge trying to interpret it. The Constitutional amendment that grants citizenship to everyone born in America is written clearly enough for an 8-year-old to understand.
But Tom, The Fuhrer said it’s only a piece of paper.
To a certain extent I feel with corporations now people with First Amendment rights its game over for the United States. With the ignorance and fear I see around me daily, stoked by Fox Noise the corporations will have the public believeing anything it wants.
They may keep the name “United States of America” but in 15 to 20 years, if nothing changes, they will mutate this country into something very bad.
Beach, that possibility certanly exists to an extent that our job to prevent that will be long and hard.
