I think it will be small gains in certain areas… I really don’t believe the rethugs will get control of anything.

saw this when i was here yesterday…
The Intrade odds for the Democrats to maintain control of the House of Representatives after the November elections have been trading below 50% for the last week, and the odds have fallen from 62% on May 21 to 46% today.
so you can put your money on it if you want:

The party in power always always loses some seats, but teabaggers and radicals have saddled the Republicans with nutjob or extremist candidates in Kentucky, Nevada, Florida, and eslewhere. I don’t think the losses will be large.

I went with the small losses because there are districts out there who consider Virgina Foxx, Steve King and Michele Bachmann to be sane

Not a clue. There is no, even semi-reasonable/reliable means of judging what the electorate is thinking. The primaries are party specific, so that doesn’t mean much. The news is crap, so that means even less.

I said big gains only because I think people are realizing how obstructive the Repubs are with their threats of filibustering practically everything. And killing the unemployment extension I think is really going to hurt them.
Small losses was the big winner with big losses a distant second. I voted small losses. By rights, it should be total victory, or at least big gains, because this Democratic Congress, in the face of unprecedented Republican obstruction, has done more for the American people than any Congress since the LBJ administration. Sadly most American voters are so apathetic that they do not take the time to learn the issues and party track records, and the media present GOP lies as fact.
We have a new poll. Note that it is multiple choice.

Those that voted Republican were the only one fooled by all of the negative hype toward President Obama. But even the most loyal Republicans can see that there party has no plan. Or should I say no new plan, just the same thing that got us here in the first place. I understand loyalty I can even understand pure racism. There are conceivable many reason President Obama and the Democratic party may not seem acceptable, you name it. But self preservation trumps all. Preservation for family, your interest, for America. What do you hold dear? This President is getting things done. Most of America is affected positively by this President policies be it Republican Independent Democratic or undecided. I am not even going to tic-off all of the accomplishments I am sure everybody already knows. What is more obvious is that the Democratic party done so with out the help from the other-side. What is not said enough is that the Republicans failed time and time again to stop this party. However they have slowed the Democratic party down again I don’t have to tic-off all there field shames, misinformation, lies, scare tactics, or even or even below the belt Defamatory Statement on members of the First Family
.Yet the Democratic Party accomplished what no other Administration has achieved. America has to ask what would our state be right now if the other-side had cooperated instead of hindering the Obama Administration were would the unemployment rate be, job, lets even go world peace, because the Republican did not only DISRUPT out interest in America they have done damage all over the world. The World is affected by America.
One of Mans strongest instincts is self preservation.
Yes over overwhelmingly I believe America will vote Democratic.
Welcome Earl. While I don’t agree with your conclusion, I believe that every American, except for those few very rich who will benefit unfairly in a Republican regime, will be better off if they do. The problem, as I see it is general ignorance making voters vulnerable to propaganda,
